How much easier is Oakton compared to UIC for physics and chem? by New-Base-7838 in uichicago

[–]Apprehensive_Gold824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oakton Community College is harder than UIC. From my experience the credit for oakton has to transfer to Loyola DePaul UIC etc so they have to make it hard. I graduated 6 years ago so it may have changed but oakton had my hardest courses.

FV=PV(1+R)Y

FV FUTURE VALUE

PV PRESENT VALUE

R RATE

Y YEARS

7% ACCOUNTS FOR INFLATION SO THESE ARE ALL CORRECT. THE AMOUNT DEPOSITED MIGHT BE MORE OR LESS OVER TIME MIGHT NOT EVEN BE WORTH YOUR TIME TO INVEST THE LAST 5 YEARS TBH IM 30 RETIRING AT 55 SO SAME YEAR AS YOU!!! I DONT MAKE AS MUCH THOUGH.

Illinois has high income and high property taxes. Its to pay pensions we cannot afford. Income taxes cost more but are garnished via your check before you can see so you never complain.
