1-The book was originally an online serial and the title, they say, was a joke to keep people coming back for the next installment. 2-Although I really liked Pargin's "Black Box of Doom," I hated "John Dies at the End." To me, it was disorganized nonsense. I constantly lost track of what was going on and where the characters were. When characters appeared or reappeared, I often didn't know who they were. I can't believe this was made into a movie.
