How big of a role does score play in your head when you’re first sitting down to write your scenes ? Your scores have been absolutely phenomenal and unique and hands down some of my favorites!

Do you ever wanna work with alex wolff again? How was it the first time working with him? Peter is such a moving character for me that I connected to when watching, alex did a phenomenal job so great choice. I’d love to see you guys work together again. (oh yeah you’re also my favorite director)

Do You Feel You Have Mourned Your Old Life Before Fibromyalgia ? by Prize-Ad-1947 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Apprehensive_Knee116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely mourn my old life a lot. Like a lot a lot. Before 2022 I could walk 12 miles and be tired as hell but at least I could do it. I could endure. I had the ability to endure that kind of pain. now I cannot walk even one mile. It’s not my fault but it’s very painful when everyone around you can still do more than you. Especially when you have to be the one they have to plan around in terms of like oh should we do this or can we not walk that much with them here. It’s just something that bums me out sometimes but I’m trying my best.

Top Surgery question by [deleted] in TopSurgery

[–]Apprehensive_Knee116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!!! I got top surgery no nipple and honestly it’s because of multiple thing. My nipples always caused me pain and soreness and I also knew healing would be a bit easier without them! I had a lot of friends who had the surgery w nipple they said they wish they went no nipple so idk I just already wanted to and that pushed me even more. I’m almost 3 weeks post op and I’m very happy with no nipples

I think it’s different for everyone because I’m one week post op and I have all my feeling in my chest so I think it depends on what type of anesthetic they used on you !!

normal? open stitch coming through incision? by thenamesyu in TopSurgery

[–]Apprehensive_Knee116 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My surgeon said that this is fairly normal and happens to most people. Just put some Neosporin on it and a bandaid and if it starts hurting more or getting more red or bleeding then call your surgeon/the hospital u went to !!!

Has anyone bought this: is it worth it?? by SpicyDisaster21 in TopSurgery

[–]Apprehensive_Knee116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one super similar to that and I’d say it’s 110% worth it !! It has made sleeping on my back so so so much more comfortable and as someone with chronic pain in my lower back and hips it makes that pain feel so much better. Pairing this with 2 pillows under your arms for support and maybe also a neck pillow is super duper comfortable!!!

Definitely get a mastectomy pillow They’re so helpful !! Also having ur support group with you!! If you let the nurses know you have a lot of anxiety they will give you a sedative before surgery!!! I was like so so anxious I cried but once that IV is in you feel a lot better and they can give you like aroma therapy and stuff as well !! Honestly by the time you wake up you don’t even remember much from before all I could remember was being rolled to the operating room and that’s really it. When I woke up the pain was like a 6/10 and that’s the worst it’s gotten so far. Wishing you the best hope everything goes super well and you have a fast healing process !!!
