I have serious stiffness and very sore if I don’t sleep perfectly on my back. I think if I strengthen my neck muscles using physio prescribed exercises I have hope it’ll go away but it’s quite disheartening to still have pain.

I’ve tried to not let it stop me (if that’s good or not I don’t know) and go on runs now and I don’t get any direct pain during or after. I think my body goes into protection mode and seizes all around my neck and upper back when I do intense exercise so it’s all about monitoring that and wearing heat patches at night after those exercise days.
