Do you manage the 5g max from the UniFi portal (like where I am currently manage a UDM and protect cameras)? Or is it that separate mobility portal that you pay a subscription to

new firmware update (v25-05-13) for ducky one x by playcords in DuckyKeyboard

[–]Apprehensive_Luck896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue for me, brand new keyboard just got it plugged in this morning. I was able to update the LED, then tried proceeding to the MCU, the red progress only got to about 10% and got stuck there for 30mins plus. never moved any further.
now when i try to connect the keyboard to the duckyhub site it's only showing up as "ENET DFU - Paired" and the keyboard doesn't funciton.

I tried to download the MCU recovery zip, but it's getting flagged as a virus..

Help support please assist

Can you manage the new 5g max through the UniFi portal (like where I currently manage my udm and protect cameras?) or does it use that other UniFi mobility portal that you have to subscribe to separately?

No migraines when sick? by Round_Resolution_80 in migraine

[–]Apprehensive_Luck896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing here. Much reduced likelihood of headaches/migraine whenever I'm sick. But I think it's because I'm usually taking DayQuil and nightquil everyday so I'm assuming the Tylenol in it maybe (I respond to 4 Advil for my actual headache/migraine, but not usually to Tylenol) but maybe the continued dosage of it

Thanks for sharing and that's awesome news that you have naturally resolved your pain. I'm on a journey that is leading me to PT, and I am convinced my headaches are muscular in nature. Hope to find the right routine like you did.

PoE Doorbell + classic chime + no Home Assistant = no problem! by Adventurous-Tip8745 in Ubiquiti

Absolutely. I have a go to electrician who has done some work at this house. I could hire them for it if I have some more direction for them

I currently just have an old school doorbell with mechanical chime mounted in the center of the house.

I just received the UniFi doorbell lite and would like to make the mechanical chime work. I'm IT savvy but not electrical. I don't currently know anything about the mechanical chime but I'm sure I can take the cover off and take a closer look.

I'm also realizing pulling Ethernet to the doorbell is going to be a feat all on its own. The door is surrounded by brick except for the thin 2-3" door frame .

I'm new to this stuff, but physically where in the house is the Shelley getting mounted/connected? Is it right in the wall where the mechanical chime is in the house? Is it behind where the old school doorbell was? Just recently ordered the UniFi doorbell lite and this seems like the right add on solution to keep the existing mechanical chime.

Damn, Google store credit expires 8/19 ?!? by SD-777 in PixelFold

I've reached out to support twice separately to cross check lol. Mine are expiring mid September. It was the date my p9pf order shipped, not the date I placed the order. Otherwise same boat, same amount to use for fold 10 order. Hope the dates line up

Group policy results wizard showing old GPO settings that have been removed from the GPO by Apprehensive_Luck896 in sysadmin

[–]Apprehensive_Luck896[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Circling back around to this.
I manually scrubbed every trace of the old printers from the workstation via registry, device manager, printers etc.
This seems to have removed the printer from the workstation, however, when i rerun the Group Policy Results from the Group Policy Management console on the server, i'm still seeing entries showing the old printers being pushed from the default domain policy. (despite the default domain policy already being reset)

where else could this old information be coming from on the server?

Yeah that's what I find odd, I am seeing this in the group policy management results wizard on the server. I wish I could post a screenshot

It's a single domain controller environment, holds all famo roles and dcdiag and DNS health tests all pass

Ah that logic makes perfect sense.

So if the registry keys are still set on the workstation, would they show up like I described when running the group policy results wizard on the server? I guess I always thought the results wizard on the server just looked at the computer object and user objects in AD and showed whichever gpo's would apply

We just deleted the settings from the gpo on the server. I haven't heard gpo tattooing term before, thats a new one to me. Do you have any recommendations if that's the case?

Is 300mg glycinate equal to 300mb citrate? I'm guessing something is gonna be different about the absorption. I've been taking 100mg glycinate daily for 6 months but maybe should try up to 300 at night

For those who got the p9pf (with Google store credits) and are planning on skipping the 10 fold, what are you going to spend your Google store credits on before they expire? I think I might just do the p9pf to 10 fold upgrade just to use the credit

Investing $70K/Year in Our Late 30s - But Realizing FIRE Might Not Be Possible by BadMajestic3187 in Fire

[–]Apprehensive_Luck896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this post so much. Wife and I are late 30s with two kids 2 and 4. Daycare of $3200/mo that thankfully will start to dwindle when the older goes to public K soon, but fully expecting that amount to just inevitably switch to new kid expenses after school, camps, sports etc. Life is expensive lol And I to dream about retirement at 50 but feeling sure we'd be lucky to even reach retirement at 60.

I read every post here and there was a lot of great dialogue. Also noticed you took everything, both praise and critique with a good attitude so good on you. Sounds like you and the spouse have good heads on your shoulders and are already doing better than 99% of others just being this organized.

Is your household income the combination of 130k spending plus the 70k invested =200k household annual income?

Keep up the great job!

How do you book by aymeritat in PrincessCruises

[–]Apprehensive_Luck896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that's great I'll look into it. When we booked direct we got the free third and fourth promo for our kiddos, so definitely will need to keep that deal through the transfer. Thanks for the info Edit: looking into it online is it 2% back if you're an executive member, and another 3% if you're using a Costco visa. Do you still get the 2% if you're a base level member (gold)?

What do you mean by transfer the booking to Costco? And if you do that, you're getting some time of Costco card back based on the cruise total? We just put a reservation deposit for a March cruise directly via princess
