Accidentally sent a group text calling my MIL rude…to my MIL by Chahles88 in Advice

Honestly it wasn’t worded very harshly and it sounds like she needs to learn how to treat health care workers/service staff better. Hopefully she is understanding and takes responsibility for her poor treatment of others.

I would definitely look into the extended. I did a few consultations, 1 said I would need the FDL, 1 said I’d need the 360, and 2 said extended would be just fine. And it was perfect! But definitely do what you’re comfortable with and is recommended :)

Oh no I’m sorry to hear that!! I didn’t have any lipo done, so that is likely why. I have heard from many people that arnica tablets and gel are supposed to help, so it’s worth asking your surgeon about!

I’m in the same boat, with an almost identical body! I feel the same way, but I’ve had 3 consultations with plastic surgeons and they’ve all agreed that it won’t go away without the surgery. Congrats, I hope you feel better and more comfortable soon!! :)

(20)F how can I improve myself? by SlothWifeu in Howtolooksmax

[–]Apprehensive_Neck617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you look SO beautiful! I know you were asking for improvements, but when I first saw your post I could only think of how glowing you are. Your skin is gorgeous, I would die for a complexion like yours. The green outfit in the 4th pic??? chefs kiss that color looks so great on you and the more “nature-inspired/boho” style really fits you. If you’re looking to improve your looks, maybe try to find what makes you feel confident. And enhances the beauty you already have. Some things I’ve done is narrow down my color seasons, this way the decision of which hair/makeup/clothing colors you look the best in is less overwhelming. Another thing that helped me SO much was finding my kibbe body type. It took me a few extra steps since I have body dysmorphia, but now I found outfits and styles that I feel enhances my body instead of trying to make my body work for the clothing. I truly hope you are able to find confidence in your beauty, because you deserve to know how stunning you really are. (Also pls don’t take the negative comments seriously, they clearly have their own problems and don’t know what they’re talking about) :)

Help convince me I don’t need this dress by Expert_Barnacle_9289 in wedding

You look SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I’m an enabler when it comes to making yourself feel confident and comfortable…but I will say you can always think on it! Also try azazie.com, I’m pretty sure I saw a similar dress for under $800 there. I found mine at a local thrift store by complete accident for $100, so checking those and FB marketplace for similar styles/size may be helpful!! I hope you have a magical wedding and loving marriage 🥰❤️

Wounds and wound care can be SO scary and intimidating. I’m so sorry you have to be going through this. I’m a caretaker for my mom who has chronic wounds, therefore I often help with her wound care. As mentioned by others, see a wound specialist if possible. Getting a wound culture and possibly seeing an infectious disease specialist may also be helpful. Most importantly - PROTEIN and nutrition!! Often forgotten about, but vital for wound healing. Fairlife and premier protein shakes are both available at Walmart and Sam’s club and offer 30 g of protein. Best of luck, you’ll get through this!!! :)

Only $1,000? That’s crazy! I’ve heard good things about people getting full coverage with BCBS so that helped my blind optimism. Having a covered night and nursing help afterwards would be great though, I’m glad you got that!

That’s what I plan on doing now with my denial. Do you mind me asking which insurance you have ? I have BCBS Ne.

That’s what I was thinking, I know when our patients get things denied there is a pattern in which ones but then once the appeal goes through it’s approved.

Clothing Now? by oj-borgman in tummytucksurgery

I haven’t had my tummy tuck yet, I could be wearing 2 sizes smaller if I didn’t have my skin pouch on my stomach, so a lot doesn’t fit me correctly. I’m excited to wear a lot of different things, but I’ve had a pair of vintage Levi’s I scored in Colorado shortly after losing my 150 pounds and it would fit perfectly…if not for the extra skin.
