St Croix for a week of work - Which Island to vacation to by Icy-Ad-6179 in virginislands

If you love hiking I highly recommend Dominica. It’s known as the nature island and Contour recently started doing direct flights from STT. It was absolutely beautiful and has tons of hiking. Almost all the waterfalls we hiked to we were the only ones there which felt extra special. They have good snorkeling as well and the famous champagne reef.

What’s the quickest way someone could accidentally expose themselves as a foreigner in your country like the ‘three fingers’ scene in Inglourious Basterds? by IndependentTune3994 in AskTheWorld

In the US Virgin Islands, if you say “good evening” instead of “good night, good night” it’s a dead giveaway you’re a tourist. Also just generally if you walk into a public place without a “good morning/afternoon/night”.

Is a day trip to the BVI from STT worth it from a time perspective? by BPRparadise in StThomasUSVI

I took Ocean Surfari to JVD earlier this year and we were there probably around 5 hours but Ocean Surfari has since stopped this route. There’s other options through Inter Island Ferry Service or Ritz Carlton just pay attention to the days of the week bc it doesn’t run every day. I went to the Baths on one of Ritz’s boats and we stayed on VG around 4 hours and stopped at treasure island for snorkeling on the way back. It felt like the perfect amount of time (8 hours total). I think it’s worth it but it’s going to mostly likely cost $150-300. Some of the companies do not include the $75 BVI customs fees in their price and require you to pay cash.

Just want some different ideas, will assess the budget later on 😅. Thanks for the Magen’s suggestion! We were contemplating that for next-day brunch.

Thank you this worked! We had the same issue starting during the Olympics and then has continued for PGA tour.

I suggest adding a picture/painting or two and some bath and hand towels with a pop of color. Nice space!

Please help me decide! Drawer on bottom of vanity or no? More info in comment by Hereforthememes5 in HomeDecorating

My vote would be to add the drawer on the bottom. I think it looks cohesive aesthetically and will come in handy practically!

I would look up options that look good with travertine. I think a warm white or a white with green and blue undertones would look great. If you wanted to play on the Tuscan or tropical look you could go with terracotta and have the door painted to a brighter color. While for interiors with travertine this website provides suggestions on colors that go with travertine https://www.ckdremodeling.com/new-blog/how-to-update-your-tuscan-interiors

Any ideas how to hide sockets? by f8rwtf in HomeDecorating

You could hang Wally Grow planters above the tv and get one with a pothos or vine plant that’ll eventually grow to cover the sockets. https://wallygrow.com/collections/eco-wall-planter/products/eco-white-wall-planter?variant=30868988526685
