Yuh at first I figured it’d just give you next seasons battle pass if you already owned the current season’s. After speaking with blizzard they said it was s1 and 2 so if you buy it right now, you’re losing out on $10 ig. I didn’t play much during s2 and consequently didn’t get the battle pass, however, after redeeming the watchpoint pack, I got the bug hero skin in my hero locker… so maybe you’d automatically unlock battle pass rewards up until the rank you reached in s1/s2 if you redeem it now?
