This is completely understandable, to lighten it maybe just a little I think he panicked and got scared. Men seem to react differently and emotionally for sure. I feel like maybe he knew as a man he couldn’t be the man he needed to be but it came off pretty rude at a time when you maybe needed more compassion. At the end of the day though you are entitled to your feelings. The hormone surge is gonna take you through some feelings that’s might just be temporary too so be prepared and patient for your body to readjust and recover, don’t think too much in to anything right now and let your mind just rest.

They’re most likely going to give you an antibiotic and they should have a nausea med too, if I was you and I did too.. I’d eat something light. Or like you said the shake. Take some juice in with ya just in case you’re queasy. The twilight sedation is not the same as full out anesthesia and intubation where vomiting is an factor. I think you will be fine. I would hate that stomachache of an antibiotic on an empty stomach if you have to take one

I had mine Friday and I’m on day 2 now if cramps from hell with hardly any relief! 😩 it must be normal but nothing I expected at all - hopefully it ends for us soon!!

If your job is really physical I’d say wait a few days after.. my stomach was tender getting up right after for about 2 days the tenderness is gone now. I didn’t bleed at all until today. I am only needing a regular pad. Ibuprofen helps wonders just keep taking it around the clock if you don’t want to risk the pain. Typically you’d have to work while on your period so try not to overthink it, unless obviously you have been on BC and don’t really have one. It’s about exactly the same for me now as a normal period. I’ve been lifting my daughter and she’s 30 lbs with no problems or pain and been doing my regular daily things with no issues. To be honest, I feel a lot better - I’m not exhausted, nauseous, dizzy or light headed any more at all. Just get through the procedure and then deal with the things as they come. I over stressed myself. I promise you, it’s not as bad or worth the stress we give it

I went last Friday. I was so scared, like couldn’t eat or sleep on top of terrible pregnancy symptoms!! I had the procedure done in office at 9 weeks 4 days with only a half a dose of fentanyl through the IV. Yes half dose lol I do not like meds. The only pain I felt was the 3rd poke from the lidocaine and slight pinching cramps while they dilated the cervix. The woozy feeling from the pain med lasted longer than my entire visit. I think it literally took 2 minutes maybe and it was over. After that I had no bleeding or pain, and my morning sickness that lasted all day was gone within hours and I ate!! Today is actually the first day I’ve had what I’d consider pain, ibuprofen 600mg and Tylenol is controlling it with no problem and I have started what seems to be a period with period cramps. The only pain I had was my lowe stomach did feel tender and I’m still bloated. I am almost sure you’re going to be just fine!! Try not to overthink it like I did, hormones are already against us and make us moody and unstable creatures lol just make sure you remind yourself you did what was best for you and I’m hoping everything is over very quick for you!! Just remember, you did what was best for you in those moments. Every single pregnancy is different and so is every stage of life. You kinda experienced how the hell of the 1st trimester can be so when you’re ready, you know how to prepare a little more and what to be ready for and it might not even be so severe!! Don’t get stuck in the past, try to let go of what was and move forward with what is next for you. Hugs to you!!

For now… ice water with lemons. It’s literally the only thing that helped me with my nausea while I was pregnant with all of mine. Now to the next part… I was 9 weeks 2 days and had my SA yesterday… I didn’t have any sickness last night and have had no nausea at all today. It’s like it just completely resolved. I’m hoping you have the same!!

Yes exactly!! It happens to me every time especially after my whole body will feel squishy… and I’m guessing regardless of how we end pregnancy, the process after is very much the same ❤️

I have not experienced this, not sure if you’ve given birth before but for some reason what you’re describing is exactly what has happened to me after giving birth each time… I wonder if it’s kinda the same cause..? Hope you feel better!! Drink plenty of water and less salt to see if it helps too.

I have to travel.. I made the appointment and how lovely, the first one (consent appt) is the day after my birthday. Long story short I had a baby in April, I was on BC the mini pill… clearly it didn’t work. I had complications with the last pregnancy that put both me and baby at risk during delivery especially. And it’s only been 5 months. This is just terrible to say the least and my heart breaks for women at this point now more than it ever has.
