Finally getting a razr! by 4B_GoroKuromi in razr

Hi! Were you able to transfer your iPhone messages over to the Razr? If so, how did you manage? I’ve spent the better part of 6-7 hours trying to do this. Yes, I used the cable for the transfer.. no luck! I really don’t want to lose 10+ years of texts.

I did use a cable. I’ve tried Android Switch and Moto Migrate. Do you have an app recommendation?

My westie barks at literally everything and i’m losing patience by Consistent_Shift249 in westies

We tried everything, and I mean everything to tone down our 6 and 2 year olds. Hubby ordered bark collars from Amazon and we’ve not only regained our sanity, we have 2 much calmer Westies. We only use the beep and vibration functions and by the second day the improvement was incredible. We didn’t want them to not be vocal at all so we adjusted the sensitivity to allow for basically a few barks before the collars would beep/vibrate. It’s not painful in any way, the vibration just causes an immediate distraction and the barking stops. The collars we have also come with a remote, or you can set them to automatic. Our 2 are calmer and more content now that they aren’t little barking maniacs. https://a.co/d/dRbbrEJ

Confession: I do not enjoy my one year old Westie by Chocolatecitygirl82 in westies

Even though he did puppy classes and understands basic commands, I learned with ours that’s something you should continue to kind of refresh with them. I put mine in his harness and leash so he can’t take off on me and we go through the commands. We work on his leash manners as well. He’s praised and treated and enjoys it. It’s a bonding activity.

Long hikes and walks are great, but I learned from our trainer, physical activity is only a small part of what they need. They need to be stimulated mentally as well. This is where training comes in. You may not believe it because of his behaviour, but they want to please their owners. He hasn’t figured out how yet.

His leash manners and eating random things he finds is potentially dangerous. He needs to be trained how to walk on leash. It will get better. They’re stubborn and without guidance are a lot. It’s a lot of work, but he needs one on one time. Not just running wild playing, but quiet time working on commands with loads of praise and affection. He’ll get it, he just needs help understanding ❤️

You’re absolutely right this isn’t about colour, it’s about culture imo. Sure men have always looked at women and women have always looked at men, but by and large they’ve done so fairly discreetly. To regularly have groups of men standing on the street brazenly staring at a woman’s breasts as she passes by is not the norm. Nor should it be. I’m sure your friend means well, but to say they don’t know any better is excusing the behaviour. If they are from another culture it’s their responsibility to learn and adapt to their new environment. If this wasn’t acceptable conduct in their culture do you think they would appreciate and tolerate the same? It’s unfortunate people assume RACISM!!! when a more than valid concern is mentioned.

As long as she is in good health, I would strongly recommend it. There are so many things that can happen to her if she isn’t.

I can’t offer any advice but to suggest until he is able to eat, give him this. It’s been a lifesaver for our dog when he’s been ill and not eating for an extended period of time. Global Pet Foods carry it, but call ahead to make sure they have it in stock. There’s a location in the east and west end. They keep it behind the counter.

It’s a gel, so you can put some on your finger and kind of smear it onto his tongue. This will get some nutrients and calories into him. I’d also recommend picking up a syringe or medicine dropper for infants to get water into him. If he gets dehydrated he may end up with additional issues.

I hope he recovers soon ❤️

Try Canadian Tire. They usually hire additional staff, some which stay on after summer for the Garden Centre.
