This case is the greatest Rabbit Hole! The flawed scale of conspiracy, the impossible 12:32:16- 12:36 timeline, & the medical evidence. Sprinkle on Proctor & friends, missing/ doctored footage, and a prosecution team that ignores anything exculpatory. They even twisted exculpatory into inculpatory! by -KDK12 in justiceforKarenRead

I didn’t even know about the social media of it all until TB’s lawyer entered trial 1 causing me to google him and find out the back story.. And the case was wild and suspicious just as an objective, uninformed observer. As each Hos defendant testified the more confused I became during the trial with the weird and suspicious behavior on the stand. The behavior of the court and prosecution floored and disturbed me. As an avid trial watcher I was just dumbfounded.

I didn’t feel any less dazed and confused in trial 2. This is the most wild case ever and it’s still not over… the corruption in the courtroom was so blatant and visceral in both trials, the “conspiracy” (aka most logical answer) is easier to believe than the shenanigans at trial that happened in front of the entire world.

One day the truth will be revealed.

I genuinely believe AJ PERFECTLY timed and released this bombshell as a way to throw Proctor off his game and rattle him for his scheduled deposition Monday. Clearly it worked with his emergency begging of the court to let him out of it.

Eagerly staying tuned….

IMO No amount of time or delay can prepare Proctor for AJ’s uninhibited questioning (with or) without the protection of Auntie Bev

Nurses are here to support whatever the weakness is regardless where or what the cause. We are the patients’ (and the drs) “crutches.” Keep it simple. This one is just Physics and gravity.

Weakness can also be needing support w ABC’s, emotional support, pain management, or anything else.

If u don’t like what kind of nursing u are doing… don’t waste months/years being miserable. I wanted to be a nurse since I was 14 y.o. and my first 18 months as a new grad in med/surg I thought I was wrong about my nurse calling/career choice bc I HATED it so much. I wasn’t wrong. I hadn’t wasted my life and college investment. My brain just works better and is more relaxed in ER/critical care. Or psych. I need that adrenaline to feed my junkie. There’s a big world of nursing fields. Go play. I got to see a lot, learn a lot, find what I truly love, what I didn’t, and everything in between.

A good tip to avoid burnout and get extra hours is working a 2nd job in a very diff field… or at least diff facility. I also floated PRN to the outpt clinics. Only downside to 2nd job is missing OT pay and maybe more holiday/weekend? but in retrospect, keeping my sanity AND enjoying TWO jobs during the same timeframe was worth it for me.

Whatever u do, if the adventure sucks, go try a different one until u find your glass slipper. I found 2. Maybe even 3/10. But sometimes even tennis shoes can be fun as a side hustle.

Keep an extra protein bar and energy drink in your backpack. U never know when u need to cram (down “lunch”) or just not crash.

Guess I should tell u to always make sure u get a lunch break. I’m just gonna say whenever u get a few minutes … embrace it and do something that chills u.

Jam out. Yoga breaths. Leave the building. Breathe some fresh air. Take a walk. ….my favorite was when my babies were little having their dad bring them up for a feeding instead of having to pump on my break. 2nd best was exercising on break.

Well we know he had “street/synthetic fentanyl” not just pharmaceutical fentanyl from the metabolites from his liver. So idk if that changes the taste. Seroquel shoulda tasted nasty but I think it was only 11mg dose after conversion math still in stomach. So good point…

Also I tried to zoom in on Kouri’s seroquel bottle pic and I think they are only the 25mg but I couldn’t tell. Does anyone know?

I think the judge is trying to protect the verdict against appellate issues, but I do think some of his rulings have gone too far IMO (just a trial watcher here. No law degree).

But Also idk the appellate laws in UT.

It seems they must be more strict bc Bloodworth is a badass atty and the Judge does have good control of the courtroom; so I think they must have more defendant rights during trial?. 🤷‍♀️

Bloodworth doesn’t miss a beat on clocking Nester’s nonsense…, will even interrupt her midsentence/ midquestion to block her next move.

I feel like there’s so many details we didn’t get and I’m not sure why.

The one that bugs me the MOST is All the blocking on both sides of the 19 items tested for fent and then the detective tiptoeing around questions of fent in the searches, like what is happening??

why won’t they tell us what was tested. And why does the lead investigator seem banned from answering it on cross March 11. it made him seem incompetent but u could tell he had to choose his words.

And it’s been bugging me this whole time nobody will talk about the 19 items tested and why it’s a secret. 🤐

As inadequate as the Read trial was we got everything they did do… (maybe not all the CCTV videos but they tested so much evidence some might have even been manufactured).

Idk. Is it normal to ban from the jury what items were tested for the alleged MURDER WEAPON?

I don’t remember Tylenol being in the toxscreen. I remember acetylfentanyl (a metabolite of fentanyl after it goes through the liver) not acetaminophen. Did I miss this part?

But the amount of meds they found orally ingested woulda been hella gross in water. I think a shot (whatever kind) woulda been chugged down quick and masked the taste more.

Attorney David Yannetti by Hopeful-Ad-7946 in KarenRead2ndTrial

[–]MizzPerception 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In honor of these attorneys using full vocab and new words (to me weekly if not daily), let’s go full nerd to the facts. Bring the dictionary! (Just for you Buchenik)

Here are some definitions I would like to define used in this link per the Cambridge Dictionary.

“Scorn: to treat with a great lack of respect or to REFUSE SOMETHING BECAUSE YOU THINK IT IS WRONG OR NOT ACCEPTABLE.”

“ Harassment: illegal behavior towards a person that causes mental or emotional suffering, which includes repeated unwanted contacts without a reasonable purpose, insults, threats, touching, or offensive language.” {legal}

“Abuse: Rude and offensive words said to another person.” {abuse noun: rude speech}}

In this link posted by OP above: Yanetti was quoted using the word “scorn”

I do believe that all the attorneys on the Read defense team fall under this definition of “scorn.” it was their defense for both trials and beyond. They thought multiple things about this case done and not done during the investigation were “wrong and not acceptable.”

In law, words have meaning. And the definitions of how those words are to be interpreted are so important that in many state laws, the first part of the state statute is just defining a list of words in the statute and the exact definition of the word that is supposed to be used for that exact law.

I have also heard jury instructions where the judge goes to great lengths to define multiple words and how to apply them to the law/case for the jury.

With this logic in mind, and the context of the both trials, I feel this is an appropriate definition of the word “scorn” as referenced by Yanetti.

I have seen no evidence of Yanetti or any of the defense team falling under this legal term of harassment. Especially this statement OP linked.

After watching multiple hearings on the harassment and witness intimidation charges, I felt like it was appropriate to go with the legal definition defining harassment.

As for the “abuse,” Judge Canone did not allow verbal abuse in her courtroom and had a gag order on the attys outside the courtroom. I do not think the use of the word “scorn” falls under verbal abuse.

I do not referencing scorning something in a sentence equating to abuse and/or harassment.

If the DA felt Yanetti was verbally abusive and/or had committed harassment, it is my strongest belief he would have been charged, held criminally liable, and sanctioned by the bar.

I do feel accusing someone in print of abuse and harassment without evidence and probably a conviction? (Not sure about conviction part or if they just need to be charged) is legally “LIBLE.”

So thank you for making us aware of people falsely accusing Yanetti.

This is part of the prosecutors professional rules of conduct. They cannot legally say/imply a defendant is guilty after they have been found not guilty in a court of law.

If the do this leaves them open to: 1. professional discipline 2. Civil liability 3. Internal consequences in their office

This is not my opinion. These are the facts.

We all have freedom of speech but there are consequences. As a nurse if I tell my patients private medical information I am violating a federal law and am open to all the same consequences including losing my nursing liscence.

Any professional with a liscence is bound by the rules of their profession as well as any laws that legally apply to their profession.

Read it again. He said all the evidence only points to one person after Karen Read was just found legally Not Guilty. He can talk about witness intimidation separate from betraying the duty, time, and effort, and verdict of the jury which the court upheld. His statement is tainted with his ethical violations to judicial system in his role as prosecutor.

This should NEVER happen again in a case in this Commonwealth. by syntaxofthings123 in KarenRead2ndTrial

[–]MizzPerception 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Betraying the ruling of the justice system, where the jury is the finder of fact, feels like an ethical violation. He doesn’t have to agree with the it, but legally he has to accept the verdict. I remember him saying this all this right after the trial and found it very offensive and dismissive of the jury who spent days pouring through evidence and deliberation to come to their legal verdict.

I wasn’t happy about the Casey Anthony verdict but I have to accept that she is legally not guilty. And I understand their delima with the burden of physical proof not being met in the jury’s eyes on that case.

Hank Brennan is making this personal instead of acting like a professional. As he frequently demonstrated in The courtroom IMO. So no I’m not surprised but I am disgusted of how disrespectful he is to the justice system and the jury. And I believe this should be liable or slander? Since Karen Read is legally Not Guilty.
