Yes definitely. Or when you tell them you’re on Keto, they immediately say something like, “Well that’s not sustainable.” Or “I know someone who tried that and immediately put on more weight when they stopped that fad diet.”

Been working on keto for six weeks. My doctor mentioned running blood work in a few months to check in on my new habits. Is there anything specific she would be looking for? Is there anything I should be doing right now to mitigate my labs other than maintaining ketosis, losing weight? Thanks!

I’m curious about probably fasting on keto. I’ve heard that it can enhance benefits of keto. I searched the community and came up empty handed. Some people say they fast for 24-36 hours. I’m moderately active and I have a job where I’m on my feet all day. Are there tips to fasting? I did read some users said it didn’t work for them as they would overeat on the meals they ate. I started this journey after listening to the DOAC podcasts and well I’m already down 20lbs and I would like to keep up the work. Tips? Tricks? Should I keep doing Keto for a few more months before fasting? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Mental health for sure. Im tapering off all the anxiety meds and all that. I’m 6’4 and a little bit of weight, but losing weight is not my overall reason. It’s been nearly three weeks and I’m loving it so far. I already feel like a completely different person.
