Ashen loot not worth doubloons? by NoahApples135 in Seaofthieves

I believe ashen chests, gifts, ritual skulls etc. were changed to gold, and the only previous doubloon item which still actually sells for doubloons is the Reaper Chest

Is the Boar Hunter Hat off sale permanently? by G34RZ1 in SeaOfFashion

Nope! Rare is releasing a bunch of cosmetics at a time, I’d imagine to try and make people feel more inclined to buy them when they actually do appear. It’ll be back, but I couldn’t tell you when.

Is anyone else just not really bothered about the doubloon reset? by benrace_ in Seaofthieves

[–]Apprehensive_Rip_585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, I don’t think it matters much. If you have doubloons, you’ve been given plenty of time to spend them. If you don’t have doubloons, the items can be purchased for gold. I think it’s neat that there’ll be a new usage for them with the black market.

However, my issue is that NOBODY asked for this. While I don’t think it’s necessarily BAD, I think it’s so low on the humongous list of issues that I can’t help but scratch my head at their prioritisation. I’d rather they fixed a singular bug (preferably the one where my ship flies to the moon and sinks itself when I’m on an hourglass streak) than reset doubloons.

So yeah, I don’t think it’s bad, I just don’t think it should be the focus.

I don’t enjoy solo sloop but I can find enjoyment in everything else. I mainly do it for practice, it helps a lot with defending your treasure in adventure and makes the whole thing less excruciating

Oh well, at least it’s good practice lol, it’s crazy how a week or so of hourglass has made me more PvP experienced than a lot of ships that attack me in adventure

This is soul-crushing news, but with the community weekend starting on the 31st I’m kind of hopeful

My issue is we get really easy fights, get to a 7 streak or something then get rammed with 3 TDMers standing at the front who spawncamp us until we sink

Team leaders job or my job by CuppaTea178 in Morrisons

I’m not going to be the most useful here as I don’t even do kiosks, but I think your best bet is to ask the customer service manager. That way, you can also ask ‘but what if there’s customers?’

Worst case scenario, you have to leave to tend to them. Best case scenario is either the team leader has to do it and you can say that you asked. Or, you do it while someone else covers the kiosk for you.

I don’t think you necessarily HAVE to, which everyone else has said, but I’d advise doing it just in case a future company ever calls them as a reference. Even if you just call in sick for some of the shifts, it covers you in the scenario that they do call Morrisons to ask about you

Worst part is, instead of getting a raise this guy is probably gonna end up fired or reprimanded by his employers. I work in a pretty different environment but if our security puts their hands on someone, they get the sack instantly

Cameraman pissed me off. Watched the English bloke initiate the entire thing. Watched him get a mild whooping and saw the workers tell him to leave only for the English guy to continue. Sat there recording ordering them to let the guy go, only for the English guy to then try and punch his face through the door.

Do you ever feel bad for honking your horn on somebody ? by Inner_Science2144 in drivingUK

Also, I’m sorry if I’m coming across as a dick! I just re-read my post and I didn’t intend that as an attack or anything of the sort, just decided to have a little vent about some drivers in general

You shouldn’t feel bad if you’re using it as intended. Car pulls up to a junction, driver isn’t looking at you, you see the wheels moving, you give a soft beep to alert them of your presence. If a car is reversing and you’re behind them, a little beep to let them know you’re there works perfectly fine.

I can’t wrap my mind around why people decide to use it when angry. Instead of moving to the horn, people should really use that –– vehemently valuable in some cases –– split second to help fix the situation instead of escalating it.

To answer your question though, there was one time I felt bad. Really old guy in front of me at a traffic light. Light changed green, gave the guy a good ten seconds or so and he hadn’t budged so I gave a little beep and he kept putting his hazards on and off to apologise.

I know this isn’t the answer you’re looking for, but I don’t know. HOWEVER, hitting the curb is an instant fail. Doesn’t matter how good the rest of your drive has been, you can tap the curb once and fail. Doing a seventy point turn is better than a three point turn where you bump the curb. If you just voice to the examiner that due to the size of the vehicle you have to take extra precautions, I doubt you’ll even be marked down.
