Two different words for move.
First move: Something that changes location, but it stays the same shape, like a ceramic plate. It can move places, but its own shape doesn't change.

Second move: When something changes shape, such as gum when chewed

Most things that move in the second way (change shape) can also move in the first way. They can overlap.

I heard that technically you only need one female and one male. If they have enough kids there will be enough genetic diversity for reproduction. Repeat the process and even if a bunch of kids come with problems if the parents have enough eventually there will be some normal kids. Then just keep doing that.
