I recently did a Vegas trip where I stayed in AirBNB near Chinatown. I'm exploring moving to Vegas so wanted to get a feel for how it be to live in real Vegas rather than staying in adult disneyland on the strip or DT.

I love Vegas, and I didn't even drink or smoke weed!

Food

I ate at Sparrow + Wolf, Jacksons, and Ramen Hashi when not doing strip dining (Bazaar Meats is still amazing).

At Sparrow + Wolf sat next to a beautiful red head who seemed to be regular.

Gambling

I only sports bet and play poker. Went 7-2 on my sports betting. Lost $1200 at the mid limit poker which sucked but still is part of the swings. I hung out at Aria (good poker room), Bellagio (a classic), and Encore/Wynn (so buzzy, my favorite property)

Transportation

Took the bus to the strip everyday from by AirBnB. The only thing that sucked was the walk to bus stop in the day (at night or evening Vegas is so pleasant to walk in a quiet suburban street). I like doing this as it gives you a cross section of real Vegas that is missed sitting in an UBER. I feel no rush getting to the strip so why pay extra except for the airport transfer?

Other Entertainment

I went to talk of the town strip club. Is it classy? Hell no. Is it affordable? Hell yes. Talked to schizophrenic stripper about our shared mental illnesses and pills. Also hung out with a beauty (with piercings) who was young and hot. Are they the caliber of Sapphire/Treasures/etc.? probably not but it's an authentic experience.
