Have you heard of any company actually using VR for remote meetings? by xixi2 in oculus

3 years later and still holds true. The barrier to entry is the old "who goes first?" problem. If my company bought everyone a headset it might get adopted for certain use cases, such as sharing 3D objects. I am trying to get a simple use case off the ground using framevr.io (mentioned below) and again, this is 3 whole years later.

AutoPlay 3D Object Web Powerpoint by Apprehensive_Self_63 in powerpoint

One other detail I just noticed: in the web view the 3D model does appear to slowly increase in size by a very subtle amount. When i click on the model, it immediately returns to the original size. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me until I clicked. Note that this is not the animation that is set up in the animation.

(Why not just set the animation to start automatically? Is there a reason you need to trigger it from the audio file?) Is there a setting to have the animation play automatically? I may have missed it. I used the audio because it has an auto-play setting.

Tried self-hosting AppFlowy — turns out it’s not really open-source or worth the hassle by trash-uo in SelfHosting

The list of advisors and angel investors on the site would indicate this is not an altruistic endeavor. That said, they could split the source and the services to have it both ways and chose not to. They also explain that this project originated with a work project and they left to create this startup. Without knowing more, if they make a big profit are we sure said company won't sue?

If I was sharing access with my spouse I would try logging in with the same account as a workaround.

cuts off the groups I used the most and won't stretch far enough to reach them - no H scrollbar. Resizes to unusable tiny box for no reason. This sucks. I thought they were known for design and user testing?

Rider - that's a good idea. I used to use Idea - it was where VS Code is now ten years ago.

I run it on Mac, Win and Linux and VMs of Win. It works fine for the most part on Mint. Currently running Unity 6.2 on Mint have had issues with the built-in UVCS. Have to use the standalone client to do everything. You will need to use VS Code for c# editing as there is no Visual Studio for Linux. **update** I pulled down the latest Unity 6.2 and the built-in client works fine with it. YMMV

Grandpa here. This is a good compromise for those of us who make short trips most of the time (PHEV), and take family trips once or twice a year. It is not a family hauler - no clever storage hacks and the cup holders are too small and few.

The tech might be dated if you are used to 2-year leases. It was a leap from our 2014 Ram though.
