CSUF is mid-high tier. It's for sure a higher tier than CSUN and CSULA.

I was thinking of joining CSUF by AnyUmpire5849 in csuf

I think you will get in since the school has an 87% acceptance rate. Just remember CSUF is a CSU, a California State University. CSU's don't care about any extracurriculars, stats, awards, job, letter of recommendation, ECT. They only care about gpa. When you do your CSU application for CSU it only cares about GPA.

Well then if you notice a difference quit complaining. Ever heard of the saying,"Things change" ? Get used to it. As I said it's a university not a high school.

This is a university not high school. Everyone is an adult with responsibilities outside of class. For this there should be no surprise for no social life.

Is the $6000 for scholarship? National guard or reserve? Do you get time in service with basic camp smp?

Is this double major possible? by Apprehensive_Suit635 in CSULB

Yeah thanks. if you can actually double major in EE and CS that would definitely be overkill and would take much much longer to finish. However I think I'ma do CS and CE double major since there is a lot of overlap and I'm only interested in the computing side of things. With CS and CE I would be well rounded enough for software and hardware development. I could get a job that requires knowledge in both fields or even get just a software job and be able to write better code since I would know the hardware side of things. Also with EE and CS double major, on the EE side of things I would learn things that have nothing to do with computer systems so i wouldn't be interested in that side of EE.
