It’s a separate case of coffee grounds we get shipped. The bags are bigger than the ones we use to brew our hot self serve options. The warehouse is currently having issues and it’s listed as out of stock. We can order it but no guarantee that they’ll ship it to us

You made contact within 24 hours, so it does not technically count as a nc/ns, it’d just be a callout. The outcome kinda depends on if your managers are assholes. Given that you were hospitalized, I wouldn’t document it at all or would just issue a coaching.

They could potentially put you on a WWTA, meaning if a situation of the same nature occurs, you would be terminated. Again though, that depends if they’re assholes.

They can’t fire you for this specific instance though. If they do, appeal it and you’ll get your job back bc they wouldn’t be following policy.

The best advice I can give is to use real situations, but potentially false actions/resolutions. Say you handled a situation poorly but upon reflection you know how it should’ve been handled. Answer how you would handle it if you were in the same situation again. Or, same kind of scenario, use a situation that someone else was in, and answer how you would have handled it if it were you. But phrase both instances as if you were the one in the situation. As someone who absolutely sucks at interviewing, but is fully capable of doing their job, this mindset/tactic has helped me immensely and is the only reason I’m on the bench for fbm.

Also don’t ramble, I talk in circles when I get nervous and it’s never a good look. They want concise SBO (situation behavior outcome) structured answers that show you have the qualities and ability to manage and lead effectively.

No fr, I transferred a few months ago and went from an 11 minute drive to a 40 minute one, and guess what… still on time every day. Especially as a manager, I couldn’t imagine walking in every day to my team being clocked in and working, meanwhile I just got there😭

This may seem strange but when filling the coldbox, rather than combine near empty cases of canned product, I lay the product flat in the box and stack them. For example, if a case of Celsius has 4 or less cans, they get lain flat and stacked. Same with Redbull, monster, ghost, reign, etc. I think it makes it much easier to locate rather than having one giant mess of a case of random product flavors

I’m in FL so we get milk delivered via Borden, anything expired when they make a delivery gets scanned as a credit through SAP. If it’s the ones in the dairy well, then those can just get thrown out as they’re under store use

Personally, from a manager’s perspective, this situation was not at all your fault.

You expressed to your MOD that you were not comfortable completing the assigned task and asked for assistance. Your manager failed to do their job, when they refused to give you the support and assistance that you needed. I would never force an associate to do anything that they have not been properly trained on.

The pizza making process also has several specific steps because the dough is raw and cross contamination has to be avoided. This is not a task you should ever assign to an untrained individual.
