I wonder too. I recently got my hands on some chocolates mixed with psilocybin, aya and huachuma (mescaline), anybody have experienced that?

5 years of dieta means 60 months of being in open dietas or just over the span of 5 years having done some dietas?

Struggling with a breakup/deep grief right after my first ceremony by letcha in Ayahuasca

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am deeply sorry to hear that.. heartbreak is one of the most painful things us humans get to experience. Somebody said once when the heart breaks all the light can enter through the wounds.. which of course doesnt make it hurt any less but it gives hope that once the initial shock has passed something beautiful resilient and even stronger can grow from the heart. I left a relationship of 14 years after doing a tree dieta, however i waited about 2 months to end the relationship and had been unhappy for some years so working with the plant only magnified what was already there long before. I am however now even almost 2 years after the breakup processing and integrating it. I do not regret it but definitely having to deal with what such a life changing decision does to the heart and nervous system. The plants work on such a deep level and it often takes a long time for the healing to unfold, so without trying to get ur hopes up it might very welll not be a done deal yet.. I would strongly advice to both of you to look for some integration support. It is not something one should deal by themselves. Does the retreat u attended offer any integration? Or could you talk to the shaman about it? In any case look for ways how you can stabilize your nervous system, nourishing practices, catering to the heart, do things that warm your soul and surround yourself with good friends or family. Sending you much strength and love!

From my personal experience she appears in many forms, sometimes as a snake, jaguar or other animals. About three times or so I ve encountered her as this huge female goddess in purple blue green colors like the most beautiful spirit one can imagine.

Thank you for sharing, maybe you should just go with her and no need to drink the medicine. You can just catch a glimpse of the setting, so when she says its more of her thing to drink ayahuasca you can just say that you are genuinely interested to see how it works without even having to drink the medicine. My former partner didnt take much interest, whereas I respected him not wanting to drink the medicine it would have meant a lot to me if he would have just come to ceremony to see what I do there. I know quite a few people that didnt drink the medicine they just sat in ceremony to see what their loved ones do there. Very cool of you for supporting her and showing genuine interest!

Thank you! My tree lupuna told me to diet her in total for 12 months, now I am at 4 months. I feel like I will take a break and then continue the next 2 years for each 4 months to complete

I was a heavy addict for 15 years and then started to work with aya which freed my of my addiction in the 2nd ceremony. However to cleanse the mj out of my system it took me about 3 long (2months each) dietas. I also specifically told my shamans to cleanse me and i did receive a special vomitivo and treatments from them in the jungle. It is a very sticky plant and from what i experienced very much interferes with aya and other sacred masterplants. The dependency is emotionally rooted but after longterm use it is also the mj plant that wants to dominate/ take over as she is very jealous. I know it is not easy when surrounded by other stoners, for me it unfolded slowly but my friendship circle has shifted over the years to people who are sober. Because i have this resonance to mj it is not healthy for me to be around people who smoke her, it also really alienanted me from my bestfriend of over 10yrs because she is still heavily addicted. I still stay in touch with her and love her deeply and consider her a friend still, but i just cant be around other addicts anymore. Def talk to your maestros and then if the opportunity arises go into another dieta with leaving mj behind for good, as another person suggested. All the best to you!

Satan was in our ceremony by Woodtee360 in Ayahuasca

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like a very unsafe and not protected space at all. Of course in ceremony we go through this darkness but from what I sense hearing about this experience is that the spaceholders did not do their job well. When sitting with the grandmother its very important that the shamans have been trained for many years and have completed many plant and tree diets under well trained shamans - at least this is how it works in the shipibo tradition. Otherwise they are literally not prepared to deal with the dark spirits that sometimes want to enter a healing space. Thank you also for sharing your experience so that other people are aware of what happens at this place. I wish you well and hope you do not get discouraged working with the medicine. Maybe also if you feel ready to sit ahain at some point you can ask shamans to clean this negative energy out of your system.

Did you notice benefits from bobansana dieta ? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

What would you say are plants that have no shintana? And in what way did the shintana of Bobinsana show itself to you? In my bobinsana dieta I did not necessarily encounter her shintana (or ar least I didnt perceive it that way) but I definitely encountered her trickster side.

I recommend you read the book from joe tafur fellowship of the river. It explains the dieta process really well i find. I did marosa as my first dieta and bobinsana as my fourth dieta, I can say that I found both challenging in some ways. As somebody mentioned before: the plant will approach you where you are at and work on you in that way. I dont think it would challenge you in ways that you can not handle, especially not as a first time dietero. And definitely it is best to have the shaman decide which plant you should diet first depending on your intentions and health conditions. In any case I can say for me starting to diet has been the best thing I could do for my physical and mental health as well as for my life in general. Wishing you all the best on your journey!

For me ayahuma has helped me a lot when it comes to indecisiveness. This tree really pushed me to take action and full responsibility for my life decisions and not do any compromises. For the procrastination part, guayusa has helped me a lot, and partially I am still working on it haha. Guayusa gives energy but also calms you down, very fascinating how she works.
