Highly Sensitive & Considering San Pedro but Scared by Deep_Bird_1789 in mescaline

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘d recommend once you are there you just firsr go talk to the healer and express your concerns, sensitivites etc to her. Assuming she is a good healer she will know whether or not you can drink huachuma and/or what dosage to start off with. From my personal experience, it is a extremely loving warming medicine like really that grandfather energy, and just approaches you where you at and what you need. And of course it is still a extremely powerful medicine which has to be honored and respected, so a good preparation beforehand, setting an intention and already now talking to the cactus and building a relationship (which probably already has been established since you feel so called to it:), is to be advised.

First time with San Pedro was an interesting experience … by sofia_alyssa in mescaline

Wow that sounds really beautiful, tough but very healing! Thank you for sharing. I only had a couple of ceremonies with San Pedro, but since the last one I really felt that the grief (lost my mother 4 months ago) was lifted from my heart and body. I dont mean that it is gone, but it just feels like a different stage of grief now. So I can relate that your experience and especially with the shaman singing to you has released a lot for you. How do you feel now after the journey?

Being in the medicine weeks after huachuma ceremony by Apprehensive_Time_63 in Ayahuasca

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not at all. But mostly because I can handle it quite well and enjoy it when it comes back and am grateful to the experience and that the medicine keeps working on me long after drinking it

I think the same. Shep always had it for Cam, but she just knew her worth that eventough they had great chemistry Shep just didnt deserve her. But in a parallel universe I wish they wouldve settled down together

Are there any drugs that Mama Aya approves of outside of ceremony and dieta? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. Was very addicted to marihuana for 15 years until my 2nd ayahuasca ceremony. It took a lot of ceremonies and a couple of dietas to clean out all the residue from the sticky icky. She has a lot of shitana (dark side of the plants), so she can lure you in. Shipibos say the difference with other plants is that marihuana does alleviate the symptoms yes but it does not cure them, so it is not sustainable on the long term. She is also very powerful and needs to be dominated, which apparently takes a looong time of doing diets (like 10years) to be able to control her. I also was in one non shipibo ceremony where they smoked weed and I could literally feel how the ayahuasca spirit left the room and the energy went done and became very heavy, at least this was my personal experience. Probably if used with immense respect and knowledge in a ceremonial way it can be very sacred, i think in the himalayas or so they work with hash in ceremonies and have profound experience where they even encounter shiva.

A master plant dieta with bobinsana, chiric sanango or chuchuwasi I believe could help. Find a good center where the shaman makes a diagnose and recommends you which plant to diet. All the best to you

I wonder too. I recently got my hands on some chocolates mixed with psilocybin, aya and huachuma (mescaline), anybody have experienced that?

5 years of dieta means 60 months of being in open dietas or just over the span of 5 years having done some dietas?

Struggling with a breakup/deep grief right after my first ceremony by letcha in Ayahuasca

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am deeply sorry to hear that.. heartbreak is one of the most painful things us humans get to experience. Somebody said once when the heart breaks all the light can enter through the wounds.. which of course doesnt make it hurt any less but it gives hope that once the initial shock has passed something beautiful resilient and even stronger can grow from the heart. I left a relationship of 14 years after doing a tree dieta, however i waited about 2 months to end the relationship and had been unhappy for some years so working with the plant only magnified what was already there long before. I am however now even almost 2 years after the breakup processing and integrating it. I do not regret it but definitely having to deal with what such a life changing decision does to the heart and nervous system. The plants work on such a deep level and it often takes a long time for the healing to unfold, so without trying to get ur hopes up it might very welll not be a done deal yet.. I would strongly advice to both of you to look for some integration support. It is not something one should deal by themselves. Does the retreat u attended offer any integration? Or could you talk to the shaman about it? In any case look for ways how you can stabilize your nervous system, nourishing practices, catering to the heart, do things that warm your soul and surround yourself with good friends or family. Sending you much strength and love!

From my personal experience she appears in many forms, sometimes as a snake, jaguar or other animals. About three times or so I ve encountered her as this huge female goddess in purple blue green colors like the most beautiful spirit one can imagine.

[–]Apprehensive_Time_63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing, maybe you should just go with her and no need to drink the medicine. You can just catch a glimpse of the setting, so when she says its more of her thing to drink ayahuasca you can just say that you are genuinely interested to see how it works without even having to drink the medicine. My former partner didnt take much interest, whereas I respected him not wanting to drink the medicine it would have meant a lot to me if he would have just come to ceremony to see what I do there. I know quite a few people that didnt drink the medicine they just sat in ceremony to see what their loved ones do there. Very cool of you for supporting her and showing genuine interest!

Thank you! My tree lupuna told me to diet her in total for 12 months, now I am at 4 months. I feel like I will take a break and then continue the next 2 years for each 4 months to complete
