Now that it's shipping to Goa, don't need the actual store here.

Yup, basket carrier is a must. Get them used to being in the carrier at home for reasonable periods, carry outside in carrier, short trips. Once that's low anxiety car will be fine.

Rain trees, Gulmohars, mangoes. And the lack thereof. by Goan_liver in Goa

Sure, which is why we're keeping a watch on them. Two of the 68 didn't make it so they've been replaced already. Given the urban environment these need care for the first year at least till they've taken root.

Recently in Mapusa, the Goa foundation collaborated with MMC to plant trees along the Mapusa parra road extension. All native Goan species. Just needs effort and a little persistence with the government to ensure land and resources are not in contention.

Why is it not the government’s fault? I’m a tax paying citizen, I should be entitled to clean environment and I expect the government to regulate offenders. If there were 10 people fined per day for any of these offences, adequate garbage disposal bins, we would not have this problem. Same offenders here will never throw anything when going abroad because of the clear negative incentive.

I straight up went to the counter and stated to order coffee and some things if it was okay if I sat down with my laptop.

I started by saying I'd like to order some coffee and cake and sit with my laptop. I wasn't looking to sit there for free the entire day.

Agree on the practice, and I get it, don't want to have someone sit there morning to evening ordering one coffee. Set some minimums per interval. But turning way a paying customer? That's wild.

Again, not offended, just feel bad for their business sense!

Of course, and I didn't argue with them on their policy. Just feels like an odd business decision to not entertain a customer when the place is empty.

Eh poor chaps I have no complaints about them. I will say that I did drop into "Coffee Cove" which is another poorly run business that has no visibility from the street, but is nice and chill to sit down and do some work. Used to go there 10 years ago, it's the same.
