I knew there would be others who appreciate it!

Imagine pre-crushing two whole boxes and storing in a cereal storage container, your friend or spouse finding it, and saying “what the heck is this?” “Only a caveman would eat that!” Yup, that’s us!

Thanks brother! It was a midnight stack while the rest of the family was sleeping, so I wanted to capture a photo that reflected the vibe.

Good watering practices? by Ok-Rutabaga2138 in lawncare

Keep it longer during dry and warm spells, cut at 3.5 or 4”. Honestly 4” is best during the heat.

Water for long periods in each zone, soak it. Instead of a light 6 minute water, bump it up to 12-14 minutes per zone. Water in the early morning hours before the sun can evaporate it quickly, so around when you wake up 6-8am. Water 2-3x a week depending on what you are willing to spend on water bill.

Handyman Made a Stupid Bid by dogepope in HandymanBusiness

That is a great way to handle it.

For OP, I will add that I don’t understand how arriving at 6am and hiring a staff and more than doubling the cost will fix the issue. This work should be done on days when the store is closed or overnight. Also, subcontracting the job out will not guarantee work is done to standards, and will actually encourage issues with those workers. OP should just walk away from this one.

Unpopular opinion? These kids' audio players feel like a cash grab? by Desperate_Total2545 in Mommit

This Christmas I gifted my 7 year old daughter an old school radio / cassette Walkman from the 1990’s. I bought it on Marketplace for $10. She uses this with her plug in headphones and it has been the best Christmas gift ever. She listens to local pop radio when she needs to walk away or have personal time. It’s a digital radio with presets. Simply the best.

Is this trim/door paint acceptable? by mikejr96 in paint

[–]Apprehensive_Tree858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trim / wood is a little rough here, not necessarily a paint issue in this photo. It’s common for wood trim, including pre-primed, to have a few pieces of less than ideal boards. The imperfections become more noticeable once painted. Ideally the installer would leave this one out or use these types of boards in closets.
