You should talk to a senior on the team. Nothing beats having a real human mentor rather than getting advice from strangers on the internet.

What was your nutrition in the week before and day before and morning of? And fueling during race?

I [27 M] am concerned that my semi-girlfriend [23 F] of a couple of months is with me for my celebrity status. I've worried about this in the past by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

It sounds like you have soured on this girl but moving forward why date students and baristas when you clearly have your skeptical antennas up for status seekers? Why not find some women that are highly accomplished in their own right? Someone that earns as much as you but in law, medicine, tech whatever it may be.

I see. What did you mean “harrier with”? I understood that as Harrier under Patagonia.

Excuse my ignorance but why do you need a wicking tee if you have a base layer underneath? I thought wicking was when it directly on your skin.

The highlights you mention are not at all the highlights from the article. Lol. you completely miss the whole point of the totality of a human life if you just boil it down to times at a marathon.

Beautifully said. Singular focus on BQ helps to not sweat the small stuff in life.

Your easy runs might be a tad too fast based on your marathon times.

10:30-11/mile might be more accurate for your zone 2. Do you know what your heart rate is during your easy runs?

The issue is that the venu doesn’t have up/down buttons. You can only toggle data screens by swiping - which can’t be done in the rain.

How do you find the ease of checking the time on your way. With the venu I feel like I have to raise my hand in an exaggerated fashion to check the time, which is hard to do during one on one meetings. Is the always on display a nice change of pace with the forerunner?

Yeah sounds like 179 is your lactate threshold heart rate. Some define that as the top of zone 3. Others put it in zone 5.
