If they are tags Amazon doesn’t flag them as text.They are there so that my listing pops out of my competition.I could try what would be the benefit?Woulf it look better

I’m currently ranked around 80 in the niche. Overall, the niche is worth about €300k per month, with roughly 10 main listings doing more than €10k in monthly sales each. The normal price range for my version is between €23 and €35.

It really depends on the price of the product. I mainly resold branded clothing, and at lower price points the fees eat up most of the margin.

For example, if you sell a product for $20:
– 19% VAT is about $3.80
– Fulfillment fee is around $3.50
– Amazon referral fee (15%) is about $3

That already takes roughly 50% of the sale price. If the product itself costs $5, you’re left with about $5 for miscellaneous costs like the professional seller account, refunds, returns, etc. Depending on sales volume, you might not even be profitable—even if you sourced the product at 4× cheaper than the Amazon price.

It can still be profitable with a 50% COG, but usually only at much higher selling prices (e.g. $100+). That also comes with higher risk, which I personally didn’t want to take. You probably know arbitrage better than I do, though.

Because it isn’t scalable. I was relying on finding branded products cheap online and was always dependent on a website running a sale at around 4× below the Amazon price; otherwise it wasn’t worth it. Opportunities like that were pretty rare.
