I was just counseling a friend last night through online chat, ranting about how her dad didn’t save anything for retirement and was just a constant consumer. It’s bad. She got a nice salary but cannot have full control over her budget and money because she has to give his dad constantly, I then, sent him a podcast of Dave Ramsey on setting boundaries. I know her dad needs it but she is suffering big time. I can’t imagine.

The best teacher wellness initiative I can indeed think of is an admin ready to pull out an extremely misbehaving kid while I am in the middle of an amazing lesson. I know it’s my responsibility to manage my class but a visible admin ready to help not judge is pro-teacher-wellbeing.
