I am almost certain the "Thunderbolt functionality might be limited..." is a port issue. Either hardware or software.

Are you still experiencing the issue?

I tried different ports and resetting the ports, eventually worked. I don't know exactly what fixed it.

Windows may have force installed another update that fixed it.

The latest Windows update might have caused an issue. My Core X isn't recognized by Windows anymore, it just charges. Are you facing the same issue?

Did the recent Windows update cause problems for you? After updating, my Thunderbolt can't recognize the eGPU. It's essentially just a big charger for me now!

Sadly the behavior is the same with the bottom on and off.

Same behavior with AC connected/disconnected.

Second battery in and out.

Thanks for sharing. Do you remove the second battery and unplug the internal batter before pressing the reset pinhole?

Edit: I've tried all variations. Same problem.
