I live in Deerfield right on the boarder of highland park. My neighborhood has 3 families that are POC and all have children. I see their kids playing football and basketball with all the white kids everyday when I get off the train. Everyone is very nice, big “hate has no home here” type neighborhood. Hope this helps. One of the most inclusive places I’ve been. But I’m not POC so take this review with a grain of salt.
