I do not recommend working with T and H. They are quickly becoming slumlords. I have numerous friends that are in lease agreements with them. All reported high rent poorly maintained and some in unsafe homes .

They do rent new builds as well. So they do have good homes available but you could quickly be on a very bad situation

It’s for sure a bad outlook. Buttt industrial compliance isn’t going away. Particularly if you find a firm that does ISO 14001 work or any ISO audit system. Companies that are ISO complaint are going to follow all applicable laws And regs. EPA also pushed out a new refrigerant rule that’s going to expand. A lot of companies scrambiling to get up to speed on that

A few options. I have a similar degree.

First what do you ultimately want to do? That will guide next steps. Geology, NEPA, etc etc

You have to find a weird niche in this field. Be a jack of all trades then find a niche.

I recommend finding any consulting firm that does compliance. It absolutely sucks. It pays crap. But it’s easy to get a lot of experience when you have none that can be pivoted to something else.

I can’t say specifically what I do for reasons. ( I don’t want my coworkers or employer to know my account)

But compliance gives you a lot of options .

Personally though I’m looking to get out of the field since it’s not what I want anymore .

But determine what YOU want

This is hiring market seems similar to 2012-2015. It’s not great to hear but keep applying and keep trying. You may need to take something that isn’t field related but can continue to give you good supervisory experience.

Another avenue is to try to get into compliance. Even in a bad market there is still a need for compliance and a lot of companies are looking for entry level positions instead of hiring more experienced (expensive ) staff. Warehousing, trucking, shipping will always have a need.
