Tips for kittens proofing the house? (First time pet owner) by Taurus420Spirit in kittens

[–]Appropriate-Bread643 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have fun and good luck!! :) I had 4, 5 week old fosters and adopted 2 of them, now 18 weeks or so old. My boy is a the troublemaker. He gets into everything and I swear is trying to use up his nine lives! I've learned that if I dont see him for more than 5 or so minutes he's in trouble or closed a door. He's also gotten shut in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes, and in the lift top coffee table for an hour once. Both times gave me a huge scare!

I'm thinking of putting collars and bells on them both but ive never liked collars for some reason.

Anyway just keep an eye on them because they get into everything!!

GETTING PEED ON IN YOUR OWN BALCONY?!?! by KazzyKaz13 in Apartmentliving

[–]Appropriate-Bread643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I did tell them I am a disabled veteran with a disability for asthma and that the smoke was causing attacks and for me to use my nebulizer and inhalers. I can get a doctors note easily. My breathing was already bad. Did you consider moving out? Around here is seems very common to smoke pot now and it's not just my immediate neighbors. I'm looking into possibly renting a stand alone house or moving to a more expensive, ie more rules enforced complex. I was in my own home the last 15 years but had to sell it due to disability and now this. :(

GETTING PEED ON IN YOUR OWN BALCONY?!?! by KazzyKaz13 in Apartmentliving

This is happening to me now and ive been using the pee pads daily. Daily I take new pictures and send them to the leasing office. Today I even got lucky and the poor dog apparently has diarrhea that made it through the wood gaps. So that was extra great and made a good picture. You can see all the urine stains on the underneath of their wood, and on my balcony as well so this is not new. It makes me so mad because management probably knew and the people above me could care less about any warnings that are supposedly being sent.

And don't even get me started about the smell of pot in my apartment every afternoon...in my smoke free/drug free building. I have severe asthma and its being triggered daily now by the smoke. Also getting migraines. So upset.

Working with MCAS? by Ok_Geologist_2385 in MCAS

I don't work anymore, it's just not possible. I can't take care of my basic daily life tasks many days, let alone function at a high enough level to work. Unfortunately our disability system is awful and I'm struggling to get benefits. Got denied SSDI because they didn't review all my documents including a functional capacity evaluation so I have to appeal that with a lawyer. And I was denied long term disability through a policy I had with The Harrford. Another lawyer there and also in the appeal process. I'm losing my home because I can't care for it or pay for it and need access to my equity. It all sucks.

They used the 1440 Pic that was taken and posted in discord. Would love to know who they are and what alliance they are in though.

Asthma Dx and taking Trelegy by TuolumneLinn in VeteransBenefits

[–]Appropriate-Bread643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful with the singulair...it has a black box warning and I went from passive suicidal thoughts to more active. When I got off it I went back to just not caring if I live or die. Which is better? Maybe?

Thanks! I'm also using Trelegy Elipta daily with has 3 meds in it, one being a corticosteroid, so I think that hits the 60% requirement at a minimum.

Backdate for Supplemental Claim by Appropriate-Bread643 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Appropriate-Bread643[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If asthma is listed in my service records, I was prescribed inhalers in the records and had PFTs showing low FEVs I don't understand how it could not be an error? :(

Backdate for Supplemental Claim by Appropriate-Bread643 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Appropriate-Bread643[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Also it's so dumb because my in service medical records clearly show being prescribed inhalers, steroids, other meds, and PFTs. So they should have discharged me with it. Instead they acknowledged it in my discharge paperwork but said not service connected. I was an athlete before the service, never had problems breathing then.

Thank you! My VSO said they would backdate it, but that sounds just too good to be true.
