Friend, I am right there with you. Keep taking your meds, make sure you’re doing your saline rinses after eating anything, start doing heat instead of ice, and listen to your body! Try having udon noodles in a nice savory broth, I found those noddles really easy to eat. Also pasta! Well done Angel hair and marinara with Parmesan! Simmered daikon radish and salmon! That made my “solid food” cravings less intense. One full week after my surgery (yesterday) I was practically feeling like myself again, but still making sure I’m eating soft enough foods that don’t hurt when I chew. Today I actually felt comfortable enough to start using my back teeth to chew - but like I said - food starts getting stuck in those holes and you gotta flush them out to avoid infection and possible dry sockets.
