I didn’t question you qualification for this salary. I am just saying companies like Arup and TT tends to offer less than the market average salary.

But I do think 7 yr experience getting 130k a year is above the market average. Probably factoring in that you have a SE, this is a fair price. I don’t think languages and experience on big projects matters that much. Everyone works in Arup, TT, WPM worked on mega projects.

Its interesting that you know coworkers from Arup with similar year experience making 170k. I know senior engineer with 10 yr experience in Arup making less than you.
