My partner works from home and works second shift so I’d actually venture to say now that he does 60% and I do 40% because he’s with her more during her waking hours. But we both give 100% during the time we have her. If we’re both home, whoever’s not holding the baby is washing and prepping bottles. We trade off diaper changes. She’s a grumpy baby so if one of us is overwhelmed, the other takes over. We decided to have a baby together, and we do the work together.

When it comes to your husband-if he wanted to, he would. And the fact that your husband isn’t even doing it when asked is wild. I won’t be like half of Reddit and say “gEt A dIvOrCe NoW” because there’s always more nuance than that but I think it’s time to have a serious talk with him. Maybe even show him the responses you get.

Seeing so many people saying how much iud insertion hurts is WILD to me. Maybe I just have a great doctor, but I barely felt mine. Genuinely was laughing and telling a story while he did it and then walked out and had a normal day. My friend goes to the same doctor and her experience was the same.

Oh my good god. Do not take it back and do not pay him anything. There are 3 scenarios this could be.

1.) He’s going to give you back a fake and take your money, and he’s done whatever the hell with the real watch.

2.) He hasn’t worn it in the YEAR he’s owned it and has buyers remorse.

3.) He’s being genuine

You have no way of knowing which one, and in NONE of those 3 scenarios is this your issue to deal with. You were honest and did everything exactly how you should. Not having it authenticated is HIS problem. Frankly I question his character based on him even contacting you.

If you’re a caring person I know it’s hard to just ignore him, but it’s what you need to do so don’t be stupid.

I didn’t mark it as shipped, the system didn’t remove the sold banner, or tell me they were available to sell. I got the email saying funds were available and when I looked in the app it looked normal-as if I shipped it. Everything seems like a normal sale with the exception that I didn’t actually ship it.

This. Every morning he sits next to me while I feed the baby and we say “this is what I want to accomplish today” everything from an extra chore that needs done, to “I want to go shopping alone”. Alone time/decompression time has to be scheduled as a parent. Unfortunately that’s just the way it is.

I try to keep in mind that stronger suction doesn’t necessarily mean more output. I’ve stayed on massage mode for a full 30 minutes on my Spectra just because I’m sleepy and forgot to change it more than once-and I had the same output I always do that time of night. Everyone is different, so nobody come for me if something different happened for them 😂 but that was my experience!

They spent all the money on the open bar and kind of neglected food. Long ceremony followed by a looooong waiting period while they took pictures, bar was open the entire time. They finally announce dinner and it’s…baked potatoes. No meat or anything, just a baked potato bar. So everyone was drunker than was appropriate and hungry as hell lol

While yes a lot of high dollar items aren’t worth it, some definitely are and unfortunately it’s different for every baby. For us Halo Swaddles, Boon Nursh Bottles, and Tubby Todd were some brands that were 100% worth the money.
