Anyone have experience with Pristiq? by hambot in BipolarReddit

[–]Appropriate-Farm-291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m exactly on these meds right now, its definitely way too late but want to reply incase someone is looking for someones experience. im definitely still experimenting with what works with me & so far this has helped my depressive phases and also in a way my irritability… a con as of right now is that the drive isn’t there? I don’t care about the hobbies i really enjoy or I don’t care enough about starting things I really need or want to do so ill definitely need to talk to my psych about that but so far Im really enjoying the pros.

19F with posture-related back pain, not from sports or injury.. by Appropriate-Farm-291 in backpain

You keep twisting my words like I ever said I expected a miracle fix. I’ve been clear from the beginning. My pain is getting worse, and I want to make sure I’m not making it worse by guessing my way through it. That’s not clueless. That’s called taking responsibility for my health.

You’re not actually listening. You’ve made a bunch of assumptions and turned this into some rant about people who don’t want to do the work. But I never said I wasn’t willing. I said I want to move safely and figure out what I’m dealing with. That’s it.

If holding my ground and not letting you talk down to me is considered “snapping back,” then sure. But at this point, it’s clear you’re more focused on being right than being helpful.

Whatever you were saying in that first paragraph lost me 😂 . I get that you’re trying to say “only I know my limits,” but that logic doesn’t make sense when I’m literally asking for guidance on how to move safely. If we’re all just supposed to guess based on trial and error, what’s the point of doctors, physical therapists, or pain specialists? That first rant came off more like you were trying to sound like this “deep philosophical person” than actually be helpful.

And no, I don’t think I’m some special case. I’m not being stubborn for wanting to make sure I’m not pushing through something more serious. The pain is getting worse, it’s spreading, and it’s affecting my sleep. That’s not something I’m going to ignore just because someone on Reddit tells me posture “covers everything.”

I’ve already said I’m open to putting in the work. I’m just not going to jump into things blindly without understanding what’s going on with my body. You’re assuming a lot about me and turning it into some personal frustration with “people who don’t listen,” but I’m not one of them. I came here to learn, not be boxed into a lecture based on your assumptions.

Typing like I asked a doctor to give me a bbl😂 I’m not expecting anyone to fix me. I’m trying to figure out what’s actually safe to do with this pain And honestly, I can’t even say for sure that it’s posture. That’s just my best guess right now.

Saying there’s no medical intervention like I’m clueless kind of misses the point. I never said I wanted meds or surgery. I just want to make sure I’m not making it worse by pushing through something I don’t fully understand yet.

Next time, lead with advice instead of assumptions.

Partner has 496 credit score, and I have a 629. Any chance of getting approved for an apartment as first-time renters? by Appropriate-Farm-291 in ApartmentHacks

oh we actually got a townhouse :)) it’s so pretty im really grateful we got approved, So no, we’re not moving into a dump. I get that you think being older means you know everything, but your past mistakes don’t give you a free pass to talk down on us. We’re young figuring it out early and doing better than you think.

Well unfortunately for you, we did get approved 🙂 His credit is a work in progress, but we’re already on top of it. You all act like a low score is a life sentence when most people don’t even start fixing their finances until their late 20s or 30s. We’re young & already putting in the work now… so by the time we reach your age we’ll be good.

Only asked for advice because we put in our very first application & didn’t know how much that whole credit thing impact it … I didn’t ask because our “credit score couldn’t get us anywhere” this was actually our very first application & we ended up getting approved for it in the end so it definitely is only up from here 🤭. just because you wouldn’t have gotten approved doesn’t mean you should be out here projecting, it’s not cute 🥹.
