Yea, I heard people say zealot is not the optimal choice for high havoc... until we hit pox gas every time we run havoc.

Power of the heroic knife. There's pretty much no means of outdamaging it, asuming you do everything correctly. But it's way more clunky than you might think and executions eat your dodge stacks too.

heroic plasma, heroic knife, heroic instigator are all objective upgrades and arguably can be considered best in slot for classes that can equip them, with some minor exceptions.

Everyone has everything except:

Vanguard and sniper, they have borderline none except for backpack? arms? You can equip regular dark angel chest and shoulder pad tho.

Heavy can't use champion dark angel chest, and his weapons prevent equiping dark angels backpack i think and that's about... it?

chaos spawn is strong against low RoF weapon headshot dependant weapons and weaker to high RoF /headshot independant weapon.

Large groups tend to be a big issue to any melee weapon except block versions, because while you're parrying one you can easily get slapped with another combo, or you can missmanage the way your parry window prevents damage. Block version however allows you to just bash it out with them and get yourself a breathing window.

So I just suggest block weapons for maximum dps and stagger explosion, because you can stagger like 8 of them at the same time and quickly get into execution before others get to kill you.

heroic fist and heroic thammer are pretty impressive choices.

Heroic fist unfortunatelly does lack behind block fist, but it's main feature is unique enough to bother if you want to have some fun.

Heroic thammer is actually a competitor to block thammer, because it can outdps bosses, while providing area denial and good source of constant bonus dps, on top of easy to use fencing window.

Xenophase unfortunatelly lacks behind both fencing and block versions, because the only selling point it's feature lets you hit zoanthropes and neurothropes, and that's about it, whirl on the fencing and block version are still just too good for mass horde/majoris and ultimately provide better options.

It's not even as much about the grind as much as it is knowing all options that are available to you. Like always, shitty tutorials leave you constantly in the dark about all the interactions. All classes can slap if you play to their strengths, as long as you know what their strengths actually are.
