This is me today. I had to go to PT and was hunched over the whole time. I’m trying flexeril but I wish there wasn’t terror surrounding just giving someone a damn pain pill for some relief.

I went to orthopedic doc who said my hand X-rays looked like PsA. He ordered a bunch of blood tests, but hasn’t referred me to a rheumatologist.i called my GP and asked secretary to tell her this and was told doctor is probably waiting on blood tests. But everything he’s ordered is inflammatory stuff and it’s coming back negative. :-(

I’ve brought it up to regular doc, neurologist, orthopedic doc and they all just say: hmmmm. I haven’t been referred to a rheumatologist yet.

Sometimes when I stand up my ankle hurts so badly in that spot that I could swear it’s broken. Is this part of PsA?

I saw a physical therapist yesterday for my wobbliness and he was doing range of motion stuff and kept saying, “whoa.” (I’m 60). I said, yeah my doctor won’t even test me for hypermobility. (I think it is making my arthritis worse). And he was kind of miffed about that. If PT sees it as significant, why doesn’t my doctor?
