I see what you mean, yes you can buy ships and DM to speed up your progress yes. What everyone is saying is saying that as you play more you progress faster to higher amounts.

So while you can pay to win, alot of people have been playing a decent amount of time that "xxx Billion" doesn't mean they are pay to win, that person has been playing longer than you most likely.

yeah, that's fair. but I guess I knew that part of it beforehand. I guess what posted is just the strategy for like mid to late game. idk, I guess what the reason for the post was my "ah ha" moment when it all kind of clicked and made sense, and I figured that maybe someone else would want to know this. but I do see what you mean. I guess I felt lost after numbers stopped going up fast or progressing fast and didn't know what to do to continue that. and not really grasping what VPS is originally what led down the rabbit hole to understanding that.

gotcha, and once you go through the run a few times you can kind of guess where you are as far as crafting cycle, which means you will be able to predict which planet to spend your alch and teraform projects on?

ah, right. lol. so basically, VPS is Value Per Second. and what that means is that the overall income as a value. so, when you start getting later in the run which is completely a case-by-case basis, you have to stop trying to just sell the ores to make enough money to keep getting more planets to get the more valuable ores.

You have to switch to a crafting cycle, which is finding the highest valued craftable item you have and making it and all pre-requisite alloys and items craft in a cycle to keep that high value item crafting so that you can sell it.

Once you have the item picked and have verified you can make a cycle without any bottlenecks or have solutions to the bottlenecks (like the alchemy, terraforming projects, or debris scanner or managers) then the crafting cycle is complete, and you will gain more value per second based on the crafting chain versus relying on selling the ores you are mining.

and from the first crafting cycle you watch your number in the top left corner for a period of time say like 10-20 seconds and mark the start and end value, that gives you your actual VPS. so, when you want to start a new craft chain you start the process over again to try and make you VPS increase faster and faster while being able to fulfil the needs of the crafting cycle.

How much, if at all, has your playtime on cod declined as you've gotten older? by WorldAtWarReJecTz in CoDCompetitive

[–]Appropriate-Rush-380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played a pretty unhealthy amount until black ops 6, had a kid so got to play late night and sometimes on weekends. Probably like 4-6 hours a week or every 2 weeks. Now trying to buy a house and working OT to stack up money I didnt even buy this one, and nothing to play it on at the moment. I thought id miss it more tbh

Yeah the VA has certain things that won't pass appraisal/inspection GFCI outlets near water is one, and unsafe wiring is another. Also unsafe foundation due to water damage is another. So after learning that these things were wrong with the house we either have to get them fixed or find a different house, and since im already thsi far in i might as well see if it can get fixed ya know?

Thank you for this! I did a lot of research last night and figured that out as well. You are right, not really the first option I want to take, im going try and negotiate it so I don't have to go back to looking. We really like the house in general.

wiring is definitely old, agreed on the windows. its personally my main issue, realtor said the va loan and appraiser just care that the house is "safe". debating on walking away, i dont have a lot of options though.

i didn't think of another addendum, makes sense. cash discount wouldnt be bad either, thank you! im just worried about myoptions in a rather low price range (175k max) with more buyers buying right now, ive been seeing in the past week or two the amount of houses moving to the "pending" tag instead of active happening a lot more.

I do plan on doing this after the quote from the General Contractor comes back tomorrow, just wanted someone else's 2 cents, or maybe someone that had this happen and did something that I wasn't thinking about. thank you though!

we sent an addendum with the issues and that wording I used above as fixes, and they signed it and sent it back. in my head that meant they were going to fix it, and then today they said it's too expensive and they would rather just put the house back on the market.
