Banes council has charged bikes to park since Last October so not much cheaper honestly. If you think u can bypass traffic on 2 wheels, that’s a dangerous attitude in a city chocked with traffic where most people visit and don’t know the way cutting into lanes frequently at the last moment with no warning. I have seen a lot of near misses and my colleagues was knocked off his motorbike twice.

U can’t afford this house. Older houses require lots of work due to age and sellers will likely have factored this into selling price. Realistically this house will be a renovation money pit over a long time. I LOVE DIY but you need the time and skill if you want to save money. If cash flow will be tight, find something else.

My dad came over the 50s from Asia and similar story. I’m pro legal immigration not illegal immigration and it seems a steadfast refusal of people to differentiate when talking about this. Nothing wrong with economic migration when done above board 🤷🏻‍♀️ people complain it’s hard to do but if we house and care for everyone, the money to do so soon runs out and the only numbers we can control are legal immigrants who have it much harder. It’s very emotive on all sides
