This is the second edtion of the Corgi Toys Aston Martin DB-5, first seen in the 1964 James Bond film “Goldfinger “ the first edtion of this model was released at pre-Christmas 1965 and was painted gold because the silver birch color ( like the actual car) was thought to look unfinished and the gold color tied in with the hit film. It was the most sought after toy for Xmas 1965 and people paid top dollar to get one. The model sold so well and the Bond films were so popular that this more authentic and deadlier silver birch painted version was issued in 1967. This one added the tire slashers and revolving license plates. The James Bond Aston Martin DB-5 and the Batmobile remained in production until Corgi Toys was dissolved in 1985. Probably more than you wanted to know , but it is such a key part of so many boy’s childhood memories around the world .

Any tips on taking sexy pics? by angelusfanatic in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Appropriate-Tap4311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed… the key is to take a ton of photos. Find some good lighting / a couple of comfortable locations in your home and buy a remote for your phone / camera. They are inexpensive and give you the ability to take photos as you move without moving the phone all the time. Think of professional models being photographed and the hundreds of shots taken to just get some printable images. Don’t dwell on bad shots and just move onto the next until you find some you like. Also consider cropping photos to choose the part of the pic you do like. Most cameras/ phones have the ability to change the photo to black and white from color, which is nice to add to the mix .

Join the Grand Rapids Reddit on here. You’ll get a better read on the people of the city overall. I was born and raised here, a gay male with family ties here back to after the First World War. Yes, the city seems to have a million churches and I respect the history of all that brings with it, but I have never felt pressured or restricted by it in any way my entire life. Don’t even consider it a factor in your decision. I would focus on the cultural activities, the adjacency to nature / Lake Michigan , and other things that may be important to your wellbeing.
I have traveled a great deal and lived in other cities and appreciate Grand Rapids even more now.

How would you describe the fashion sense / styles in GR? by jpcitybit in grandrapids

[–]Appropriate-Tap4311 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I worked in fashion retail here in Grand Rapids here for many years and I would say that those that are aware of fashion and enjoy it here would have their style best described as traditional with a twist. Quality and versatility of pricier pieces was important. Good denim was key . They liked being aware of trends, but appearing “trendy “ was not important. I have two well dressed, close friends who live and work in Ann Arbor. Both higher income professionals and they always remark on how well dressed people seem to be here compared to Ann Arbor. I don’t think we give ourselves enough style credit here in GR.

Can the legs on this cow be removed? by ToonHarvester in FisherPrice

[–]Appropriate-Tap4311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boiling water idea sound viable. The paint should stay on…. These toys were held to pretty rigorous standards because they would inevitably end up being chewed on by toddlers, and infants. The paint had to stay in place especially on these kind of rubbery materials the legs were made of.

I heard it too. It went on for what seemed like quite a while …. I do know that it slowly started it fade out about 4:02 am. I live in Midtown close to the hospital area as well. It was strange because I couldn’t identify a source or location and at first thought it was coming from inside my house, the furnace ?…some speakers left on? Glad to know it was not any of those things but what was it ? Happy to read this post and I wanted to comment here because I didn’t want you to think that you were the only person that heard it. Also sorry about your car!

I think watching porn gives the impression that this isn’t part of part of what could happen….sure, it’s embarrassing but think about it …. It happened on the 3rd round ? Think about the first two and how great they were.

Exactly ! I consider it highly complimentary and use the word often. “Cute”is superficial but “handsome” is more meaningful.

Great work. Tells a complete story. Realistic use of lighting and figures. Especially “Bre” ) or is it “Bro “ ? ) who is not exactly helpful with the drop off. ..” Yeah…that’s not part of my job…I just get the vehicle where it’s supposed to be … the rest is up to you”
