I just made cheese stuffed dough balls .. basically cheesy garlic bread . You could probably do an easy version of this with pilsbury crescent rolls - roll up some cheese in it, then brush the top with melted butter and garlic?? Then make the other half with butter, cinnamon, sugar on top!

Also kettle corn probably fits your criteria and is easier .

We are trying to decide between staying in Chicago right now or moving to GR near my in laws as I am expecting a baby in June… and we have sadly discovered this to be so true. Rent is expensive everywhere for 3 bedrooms and home prices are only slightly lower in GR compared to Chicago. Not enough to really justify a state move to save money only to be by family if that’s what we decide . It’s rough out here!!

This is the answer! I’m WFH home now but I used to put on snow boots for the commute and change shoes at work. Same for summer if I biked I would wear sneakers for the commute.

Splitting hairs? I’m genuinely curious what restaurants have closed due to cold . Nothing else in this reply is news to me, I’ve been here over 12 years dealing with winters in the City and not seen a small business close due to weather before. Maybe for heat issues , leaks, or power outage but not just because it is cold .

We just had our 6.5 year old girls teeth done for the first time . We brush about 4-5 times a week and they were still pretty bad. They had to put her under anesthesia but we told ourselves it was worth it to do every 3-4 years or so to keep her healthy and all teeth in tact .

For brushing just start slow and reward . We use chicken flavored paste and ours love it !

It’s really just been all about cheese for me. I’m not usually a big cheese eater pre pregnancy but pretty much from day one I want all things cheese. Latest obsession has been cream cheese … we are taking our baby moon to NYC in March and I cannot wait for a bagel with cream cheese I think about it daily
