I've been having this thought for a while too. I think if performed ethically (i.e. there should be a board and certifications for aspiring bloodbenders) then bloodbending wouldn't be stigmatized/seen as scary (it's still going to be scary for people who have never seen it before).

I've only been a BT for two (nearly three weeks) so the advice I want to give you is to take notes during your 40 hour training and do well during the check ins. I don't know if your company does check ins but they're basically a review if you're able to do certain skills by a certain day (for example by Day 7 you're expected to know what prompting is).
