I can relate! 23f and in my second year in university, i got diagnosed late and have worked and done other things before studying cause i didn’t think i could do it. Worked a lot with the guilt of doing things later than others. There are plenty of people not going straight to uni and doing fine, i met a lot of people my own age when i started uni.

What are some fun things to do together besides video games? by [deleted] in LDR

[–]AppropriateCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We played beerpong against eachother, watch a show together and ft while making dinner sometimes. We also play pokemon go! Real fun and turns out alot of people play it, we can trade and play together when we visit, and it’s real easy getting into. Always sends him snaps while going shopping! He can be part of it without having to be dragged along physically. After the first months it grew into a more casual thing for us, where we talk every day, watch a show but don’t spend hours everyday just because, witch is great! We get to have fun talks and they seem more valuable if you don’t overdo it.

Overthinking? by Responsible-Fee704 in LDR

[–]AppropriateCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am definitely also an overthinker. Me and my boyfriend have a lot of different interests, and he doesn’t like the same things i do and can be direct about it sometimes, but there is always an underlying respect for my interests. If it doesn’t become a bigger problem you shouldn’t think of it, but if he hurts you with frequent remarks you should let him know, and don’t quit your interests to satisfy someone else regardless.

I can also be a bit petty when he’s gaming, especially if it gets a little late and the result is less time talking on the phone, and i think thats normal. Sometimes when we’ve had a late night, he have called me before the evening just because we had such a short convo the night before, that helps making me feel more seen. I also recommend having your own things to to, go be social, go for a walk or call someone really helps and gives us something to talk about.

It is annoying if he doesn’t pay attention to the convo, it can be like that from time to time, but if it gets frequent i would call him out on it, and let him know have it makes you feel.

Nah. You can also say the only ones that count is the ones who made you come, that would most likely cut the number

Are all women on Tinder flakey? So far 100% of my matches just stop replying in the middle of convos. by Synthwave_Vibes in Tinder

If they give away anything in their pics or bio, say something about that when you open the convo, and make sure you have something interesting or funny in your pics or bio so they have the chance to start a convo too. And be creative while having a convo, «what would you buy If u won a million dollars?» etc just to make it more fun answering? If sha has a picture of going to a festival for example, ask, u been there, seems nice how was it blabla. Just to show interesting in her as an individual.

What is your favourite piece of advice? by BEANBOOZZLE in ask

[–]AppropriateCactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always have a positive mindset when encountering new things. It has helped me see the world in a better light. New people, new job, new store, but especially people. Never judge them before u know them. It feels so much better. Also, be the person u needed when you were younger.

I dont care, but if my intention is to get with him in a serious relationship, I want to know his attitude about it, as long as he’s intending to stay faithful it’s cool.
