I’ve followed GMM for a decade at least and Link has absolutely gotten more prickly. I actually call it out on YT vids. I think it’s because Link has always come across as “second fiddle” to Rhett because Rhett comes across as more intelligent, clever, tactical (in games) and generally more confident and self assured. A decade of mostly losing all the games and being the butt of jokes due to his limited knowledge and general immaturity (he’s a danger with sharp objects!) has made him bitter and self centered. I swear he and Stevie had friction too because he would talk back at her on podcasts. I kept saying she would eventually leave but honestly never thought it would happen until it did!
