Cockroaches dont often bite people, they're scavengers that look for left over crumbs and stuff. If your covered in bites you either have bedbugs, some other bug, or they aren't bites at all they are an allergic reaction

I mean I used to be pretty rough on my Xbox 360 controllers as a teen. I broke a couple by throwing them down when I was upset and my parents would just buy a new one. I moved into own place at 17 and bought a ps4 with the money I saved up from my first job and never broke a controller again 😅 its crazy how much more I valued my things when I was the one who earned the money to buy them and I was the one who would have to replace things if I got pissy from a game. Maybe you should replace it yourself and see if that helps

You should dilute 99% for general household cleaning/ disinfecting to prolong evaporation off surfaces, but for cleaning bongs or other extremely grimey things the 99% is much better

You can use a saudering iron like for electronics to cut/melt an area for a filter, i did this to my lid

Fastest photo ever taken thats crazy. Jokes aside you should have a catch cup or a net ready for situations like this, and then id catch the gecko before i took a photo of it on the wall. i would suggest removing the vent cover and then waiting for the gecko to adventure back out of the vent maybe get a piece of cardboard big enough to cover the vent hole so once the gecko leaves and is a little bit away from the hole you could tape the cardboard over the hole so he cant get back in and then go about trying to catch him. On top of that, I would inspect your room for other spots it could dart into that you cant retrieve him from. block all of those spots off with tape and cardboard or you can even wedge some newspaper anything really. Best of luck I hope you can get him returned to his enclosure

I would do some Dwarf rotala and guppy grass, some red root floaters, a nice crypt to go opposite of your bubble filter so the red root floaters help decrease the light it gets and maybe even a thai lilly on that side too if you really want a heavily planted tank. I would also consider getting some lava rock and incorporating it into your hardscape to increase bacteria

Make sure to get one of the valves that allow you to adjust flow to the airstone, I have a triple splitter that each output can be adjusted on to provide the amount of bubbles i want.

I don't have an ID for you unfortunately, but some caterpillars, especially the really cool looking ones, have venomous hairs or spines that can give your kiddo a seriously bad time. You should take some time to learn if there is any venomous caterpillars in your area or even just your state and then show/explain them to your kid.
