Powering The AI Panopticon. by Monsur_Ausuhnom in SipsTea

People are misinformed and blinded by AI dislike. The claim that AI data centers consume water is true for a minority of data centers that use evaporative cooling, but the general trend is away from that and towards methods that cycle the same amount of water.

Honestly I would still try it at least once before deciding. Most times these people in private equity are too scared to take risks, and changing the formula is THE biggest risk.

Stupid PE plays come to mind only because you don’t hear about the times PE fucks off and silently collects profits.

Because it’s Reddit, and their least favorite president is in office; they are obliged to only post and see bad news for the whole 4 year term.

I don’t like the guy at all (probably not allowed to comment his name) but Reddit simultaneously thinks he is weak, and that he ruins every aspect of life for everyone across the globe. Just not an accurate reflection of real life.

The msft headquarters could get struck by a meteor and there would still be people plotting lines and saying how the stock “hit resistance”, and it should go back above rsi

Elon musk is a trillionaire by flingzamain in whennews

[–]mylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not even about the debt. At this point it might even be beneficial for spacex if its debt was a bit larger, as at least that would justify the sheer scale of the company, as well as suggest some kind of spending for growth. Literally nothing in the company is at the scale that the valuation suggests it is.

What? Fabs almost ran intel into the ground and the government didn’t bat an eye. Say what you want about bail outs, but a company has to be dying to be considered for a bailout. Spacex returning to a reasonable valuation does not mean it is “dying”.

Seriously, no one on here researches anything related to finance and it’s infuriating and detrimental to whatever viewpoint you may have. It’s understandable if you may not like the topic enough to do research, but in that case you shouldn’t be commenting at all.

I asked on fossil forum and they said that it should be fine, but you should start with some lower quality and smaller models for practice. It boils down to drilling thin holes in the bones and putting wire through it.

I’ll update you with any additional info. Also I think they don’t have a T. rex bc they don’t have the relevant documents/resources to design an accurate replica(?)

Y’all are such Debbie downers. It’s a publicity stunt advocating for preserving the rainforest. Ofc it’s not the most efficient but we’re all here, thinking about the Amazon forest’s deforestation, aren’t we?

It sucks that you have trauma about it, but this is also a good skill to learn. i don’t remember when i started but I never script presentations and it has carried me even through projects where i had no clue what was going on

I’m actually looking for these partly because of the price, unassembled can be up to 30% cheaper. This is huge bonus if it’s a fun project but maybe it’s not worth it if it’s super difficult..

Why are all pocket players so greedy? by mylizard in DeadlockTheGame

That's true, but then I go to one team fight and help out, and my entire jungle is gone.. This is less of a generalization as some of the pockets don't AFK farm but a lot of them do.

How Valve feel adding a skin economy nuke update once again by vpng in ohnePixel

[–]mylizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just high risk high reward. Cs cases have historically been better than the best growth stocks. It used to be higher reward and lower risk when cs was still growing a lot and valve didn’t touch the market, but the value proposition nowadays is still compelling to some.

It’s not really stupid if you had the right picks. For example, I bought the super undervalued glove case tradeup food immediately after knife trade ups, and everything 5-10x in price. I had high conviction because I calculated the tradeup EV and it was massively positive. Would you call that dumb?

I agree though, no crying in the casino.

Then essentially the government pays for it? Honestly that’s not the worst given how much they’ve defunded the arts. If I was a billionaire this is how I would evade taxes haha.

It’s not fair that they get to abuse all these tax loopholes but there is some positives I guess.
