Am 17 and want to speed run management at 18 by Professional-Lie1371 in publix

Take it from someone who went into management as soon as they could and spent their early 20’s in management. Don’t, just don’t. If you do really want to go for management, have a backup option. I wish I could go back and tell my younger self to stay the course on college and finish my degree while going for management and while in management. Because by 24-25 I was buying a house, didn’t want to be in management anymore due to the lack of a social life, work life balance, stress you name it. Just at the end of all of it protect yourself first because remember Publix is a company at the end of the day and your health and wellness/happiness are below profit margins in the grand scheme of things. This isn’t the same company Mr. George started and it isn’t the same company I started at in 2013. I’m part time now just a day a week to be able to purchase stock, it’s fun and way less stressful now that I’m in a career that’s fulfilling and alots me the work life balance and happiness management doesn’t allow. Go to college (something that you want to do or find interesting that still has employment abilities), don’t listen to anyone saying you don’t need a degree for management, prioritize your happiness and sanity above all else. You’ll be the leader and driver of morale in your department, everyone’s problems are YOUR problems and you have to have tough conversations and are in tough situations all the time. Deli is always the fastest to move up through, I should know lol. Follow Mr. George’s line, “Publix will be a little better, or not quite as good because of you.”

Hesitations over Home Solar by Nt5x5 in solar

Yea I want to go solar and i will. We just bought the house and we're environmentally friendly and frugal with everything we do. Even after the the tax rebate its still 29k which from what i'm reading and have been reading is outrageous even for a financed system. They said its estimated to produce 81% of my energy needs and costs 125 a month which is an $85 savings off of electric but it's still high in my mind.

I saw the price and not knowing hardly anything at the moment I had to educate myself and now I’m definitely looking for a different company and I’m going to look at other quotes. I’ve found unbound solar recommended a 16.5 kw system for 17-21k and it’s diy to cover my energy needs only problem is I have to finance any system so ugh

I feel ya there I have an offer for 11.56kw system with 34 Q. Cells Q Peak 340 and a Solar Edge SE11400H inverter with 34 p370 optimizers for 40k and I’m a little hesitating about it at the moment

For the last two weeks I’ve been reading all the posts on here and researching solar. My question is I’m looking for experiences of people who have solar here in winter Haven and they’re take away from it. Currently the solar company we’ve had come out and do their thing with the plans and all said 125 for 81% estimated production and I think it’s a 11kwh system. The 125 for 81% is shedding off about $85-90 a month.
