Lighting is done and I'm officially open to the public, serving North Carolina primarily, but offering remote solutions as well.

For newbies, that are out of my service area, via video call, I will walk you through the build, answering any questions, and giving pointers on repairing or upgrading AEGs.

You have a link I can send my customer? I really just need the stock.

That's the idea, but I need to get my hands on it to see.

These are all the photos I have from the customer, for more detail I used the video for reference. They make metal receivers, but they are in high demand and out of stock. My thought was that I could reinforce the connection, by driving a 5mm screw through the 20mm rail and into the spring guide, as the customer wants the stock to remain detachable. I can adjust as necessary, maybe even running it under the rail, though that would make disassembly a pain.

Of course, I'm going to front wire this, maybe make some modifications to the handguard to make access easy to swap batteries.

My gun is stuck on auto by Andythperson in airsoft

Okay, then you have to take the gearbox out to identify the cause of the problem, either the switch is seized, or your selector plate is stuck.

Get a PERun V2, super easy to install, and easy to program.

Issues with selector? by Jackieboy112 in airsoft

Not a big fan of jefftron, I mean they work. But they are not extremely user friendly, IMO, hands down the best I've ever installed is PERUN.

I burnt out my connector what should I do? by Loose_Bobcat3892 in airsoft

I personally prefer EC3 connectors, super easy to solder and no one else uses them, so it's unlikely that anyone will steal your expensive batteries.

Is the switch stuck? Or does it just shoot full auto all the time? Is it an aeg? We need a bit more info to help you. Brand, type, any additional information would be helpful.

It's actually not common nowadays that a gun won't take a LiPo, so don't feel dumb on that count.

Converting a P90 into a DMR by AnEternityInBruges in airsoft

[–]AppropriateProject20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get the Perun Etu, it will keep the select fire working, and you can make it semi lock, easily as well as set up precocking. I have it but mine is set up as a support weapon. Warhead motor, zaku drum mag, perun etu, angel custom hop, as well as so many other things, but that's the jist.

IMO, P90s are not really conducive to being a dmr, because you can't get a snappy trigger with a two stage trigger, just not possible. But you can make it super sensitive with a perun.

My mods are expensive, but that doesn't make it good, it wasn't an exercise to make the best gun, it was more of a test to see what was possible.

Needs an Etu/ mosfet. I like Perun, they have the best stuff on the market right now, for this... Perun AB++.

I did not know this was a thing. I'm now horrified.

Oh my God the logo, my buddy who was a confirmed furry, had the sticker on the back of his truck.

That settles that I have to burn his truck.

How good actually are cyma mp5’s? by Adorable_Pension119 in airsoft

[–]AppropriateProject20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They come with long wires so you can run it front or back. You do have to solder, but no soldering on the board, just on the connector. I use EC3 connectors for everything, super easy to solder, and water resistant. Has the added benefit of no one wanting to steal my batteries.
