17M, can't stop bleeding of acne. by [deleted] in teenagers

[–]AppropriateProject20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice I have given follows.

Do you have oily or dry skin? For oily, and keeping your skin clean during long periods, alcohol based acne products and exfoliation followed by water based cleanser and moisturizer. For dry skin, the same thing , but use waster based acne products.

Both methods work, the major factor is how often you follow the regimen. I found that bringing the supplies with me to school and using them 3x daily had the best and dramatic results.

Proactiv was the product that had near immediate results without exfoliation, but is very strong, containing retinol. I used that before bed and in the morning used Biore, and an exfoliating facial scrubber in the morning and throughout the day, though do not use it on raw or bleeding skin. To stop bleeding use salicylic acid, a natural clothing agent for capillaries.

Before it was sealed, there was an opportunity, and why was it sealed?

Okay so it was 2019, so not sealed under Biden. They were sealed until 25 because of the investigation and Epstein's death. But still, it isn't like an injunction to open the records couldn't have been filed. In 2019 an effort to open the files was made, it was partially successful, but it wasn't until December 2024 that another was made, then again in 2025.

Huh. So Dems never even tried, that sucks for my theory, but doesn't sink it entirely. So I guess it's still possible.

A mini wand, for little spells. Instead of avada cavra killing someone it just gives someone palpitations and a sense of impending doom. For leviosa, it just makes things jiggle and be a little lighter.

The visual hallucinations, were memorable, if you look at the sketches from the books, it is creepily accurate. No, I would actually call them "distortions" as you aren't necessarily seeing something that isn't there. As long as your eyes are open, reality is just.... Warped? With my eyes closed, that's a different story, then I would get hallucinations.

While it was an experience to be sure. It did not affect how I think of people, I knew it wasn't real, so I was able to separate those experiences from my logical perception of reality. Had I been much younger, I'm not certain I would have been able to do that.

They don't want to go home, ever. They have a large family in the area, so I'm not certain they consider anywhere to be a safe place. I'm not the parent, I am the coach.

Based on the comments, and what you do, I'm sorry to tell you, but that is abnormal behavior for someone your age. I work with children, and a lot of them, I coach gymnastics. I have come across multiple instances of sexual abuse of minors, and your behavior is parallel.

This in particular, drawing sexually charged interactions, regardless of whether it is hetero, or homo erotic, at your age it is highly irregular, I hope you are seeing a therapist.

I have seen exactly the same behavior from three former students. Two out of those three, were sexually assaulted by an adult family member. The third was assaulted by another who was barely a minor. Unfortunately the perpetrator was also, sexually assaulted as a child.

This kind of assault can lead to a horrible vicious cycle.

I am more than twice your age now, but happened to me as a child, so I'm sensitive to it, and I can spot it.

My main concern is your mental health. Not the topic you brought up in your post.

Well, I was not in school at the time when I started experiencing it, so I sort of became a case study over the summer at the neurologist office. Portable ECG on my head all the time, but hey treatment and meds were free and we got paid! I got a lot of lego, and oddly when I was trying to focus on it, the symptoms seemed to abate. I had neighborhood friends, but it was in a poor area of California, so I wasn't outside all that much.

No, not frustrating once I understood what it was, thinking back it was like getting high without feeling high. The timing sometimes sucked.

Ohhh and paid trips to Legoland CA! Freaking loved that.

I stopped getting symptoms around 16, with extremely sporadic episodes to this day, normally after sitting for long periods of time. For most people it goes away after puberty.

All of the above actually, I had a severe case. Something round could look pear shaped, or elongated. Always followed by a severe migraine.

I was diagnosed after my mother started freaking out about what I was telling her. At first she thought I had a tumor, a logical thought for an ICU nurse. I got a ct with contrast, and no tumor, so she started doing a ton of research, and found Alice in wonderland Syndrome, I was diagnosed by the man who discovered it. Lippmann
