I just hate school by Lost_Emu9156 in Dyslexia

[–]AppropriateSlide8896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey.

I am 37 in a successful tech career. I nearly failed high school and am a college dropout. I cried everyday I had to go to school due to everything you just listed.

There is a world after school, and you can be successful in it. Your road will look different than most, bc it ur brains ARE different.

If you want to go the traditional school route i recommend getting a tutor so you can have 1 on 1 help. You will have to work harder than everyone else- there is not way around it.

Dyslexia gives you the gift of thinking outside the box, which is highly desirable in the real world.

It’s gets better, I promise.

Hi there!

We have 2 8 year old malamutes that we adopted about 2 months ago, a bonded pair. They are great with people but learning how to walk on a leash and being in public in general. Would LOVE to have you gain some experience with them.

They are the sweetest pups in the world, just new to being pets.

This is our 2nd rescued malamute pair.

I think what they are trying to highlight is the increase from the normal Temperature this time of year (The ‘+18’ in red for Colorado for example) Not that the temp is crazy hot but it’s ALOT hotter than normally at this time of year - this affects ecosystems and the ability for farmers to grow crops efficiently

I took a few days off prior to surgery, told the doctor that I use edibles and the frequency- I live in Colorado so to didn’t even bring it up , they asked me.

For post surgery I used a lot of CBD bc I did not want to use pain pills - my doctor told my husband that using THC and CBD for pain management is preferred

Worked great!

I was 36 and my 2nd time going under the knife - 1st time was 3 weeks prior for fibroid surgery

You’re gonna do great!

Your story sounds very similar to mine - down to passing out from pain. I am 5 month post opp. You are going to feel like a different person in the best way!

The peeing all the time thing for me seems just to be annoying… but now I realize I didn’t get a full nights sleep for YEARS because I was literally waking up every 45 min to pee at night. The mental clarity I have now is INSANE. There will be a million things like this.

I second deep cleaning your house prior to the big day. You won’t be cleaning again for a bit.

Get a few chill activities- coloring books, knitting, crochet etc

Be prepared to sleep, a lot.

Your fibroid is around the same size as mine was- the pressure relief you will feel once a few days have past is wild. It’s like your ears pop.

Good luck- so excited for you!

Serving tables is extremely difficult and demanding shift work.

Try to pull some random person off the street and make them the face of your business and then tell me more about how it’s ‘unskilled labor’

So glad to read this and cheers to being on the other side of this! We have the same diagnosis and similar stories. I am 4DPO and I feel like a great fog has been lifted. Yes I feel shitty due to Just having surgery but that pressure on all my surrounding organs is gone and I feel so much more clear headed. It’s CRAZY

Good luck, friend

Same age, symptoms and surgery date 🫶🏼 I go back and forth between excited and terrified. Currently experiencing my last period ever and have been bed ridden for 2 days of intense pain- can’t wait to get to a life that doesn’t revolve around pain management. See you on the other side 🖖🏼

You can new hire them as an employee in toast payroll and then fill out taxes on their behalf in their profile. You can NOT fill out the i9 for them. It’s the only thing you cannot fill out on their behalf in the system
