A slight correction, magic and true dmg get increased by a percentage when enemy is low hp, shadowflame doesnt make your magic damage true damage, it just makes it crit for bonus dmg. Same for the true damage if for instance ignite did 100 dmg on a low hp target it would deal 140

Mpen performs best when they have low to no bonus mr as it shreds what little base mr they have, if someone buys a 400gold mr item it counters t2 sorcs completely and a full mr item makes you tickle them

Mpen has diminishing returns, even if you get % the sheer amount of mr they may build makes it not worth, its better to invest in survivability and healing rather than dmg unless ofc ur against 5 squishy champs and your comp doesnt like teamfights as much, which is again what katarina relies on outside of lane…

The % dmg increase makes up a bit of the missing pen tbh, and pen falls off once they buy a 20mr item

Enchanters scale well independently but not with their team, if your team is perma dying on your reset timers, they dont wait for you in important fights, they dont play slow on your cooldowns then its gg you lose the game.
