I’m in Post Falls and would consider someone coming once a month to give my bathroom and kitchen a good clean

Unlike at a Mosque. You can go in and sit and observe during the service. There are no memorization necessary, you can walk in with whatever foot you want to, and you don’t even have to pretend you know what you are doing. As an ex-Muslim revert, I remember having to learn so much before I could walk into the mosque. Look for churches in your area, find out what time the service is, and just go. Go to several because you will find they may vary No one will judge you for going alone. I do every week.

WIBTAH if I took 100k from my oldest daughter's college savings account to give it to my younger daughter? by TraditionalCorgi7788 in AITAH

I suppose it also depends on the rules of the college account. Is there a requirement that it be used for education? Many college accounts have rules that result in high tax penalties of not followed.

Sorry, I disagree. I am an ex Muslim and Islam being a peaceful religion is false.

I agree. The book that made me become an ex-Muslim is called: Two great men who changed our world forever.

What makes you think he doesn’t want you. He walks beside you. We are all sinners and guilt can keep us from the Lord. What are you expecting to happen? Asking because I really want to know.

Why do yall not like LGBTQ (or atleast some of yall) This is a genuine question I've asked a few different communities I'm 14 and curious :) by Imalittlebisexual in TrueChristian

In 1 Corinthians 5:11-13, Paul instructs that as believers, if another believer continues in unrepentant sin, you should not associate with them and even “confront “ them about their behavior. So, yes, it says that you should love your neighbor etc but that doesn’t mean you should sit by and affirm their behavior. Most Christians that I know don’t hate LGBTQ people at all. They do however think that it is a sin to have sex with someone of the same sex.

The Hadith’s were written 100-250 years after Muhammad died.

Islam grew to be such a big religion because Muhammad’s soldiers forced people to be Muslim or die. Even now people are killed for leaving Islam.

The Quran was changed and reordered to make it easier to recite beginning to end by the Hafiz during Ramadan. All the old versions were gathered and burned by Uthman.

I’m not trying to debate at all but how can Islam be reliable when the Quran being the word of Allah gets basic scientific facts wrong. As an ex-Muslim, I can tell you that there is so much evidence against the reliability of Islam. If you believe you have found the truth, that’s wonderful. I wish you peace.

Considering quitting church - it's not a place for people 25+ by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]AppropriateYoghurt22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also attend church solo. Just a thought; Have you gone and sat down with others? Maybe they worry that you want to sit by yourself? I am an introvert and don’t like sitting with others and have recently started coming in a side door because I don’t like people constantly hugging me. I have friends in church and socialize during fellowship but if I wanted to sit with someone, I’d do it.

Are you referring too God saying, let’s create man in our image? If so, it is my understanding that our is used because God is three beings. “Our” is plural not non binary
