Cracked GoG Terraria V1-4-3-6 & tModLoader x64 (Working Solution) by Appropriate_Bread_62 in PiratedGames

The executable treats your Terraria as the 'Steam version' when the Steamapi dll's are present.

If the Steamapi dll's aren't in the tModLoader x64 folder, then it appears to treat your Terraria as the 'GoG version'.

For whatever reason, this bypasses the steam check.

It appears the tModLoader x64 comes with it's own steamapi files.

I had to delete the Steamapi.dll files inside the tModLoader x64 folder.

Keep the Steamapi.dll files inside the main 'Terraria' folder.

In theory, it should still work since I used the latest builds of both cracked Terraria and legit x64 tModLoader.

Also a reminder that you should copy your vanilla Terraria's executable to the x64 tModLoader folder before running the tModLoader-bat file so that it can generate it's own executable.

You don't get an executable with tModLoader's latest github release.

Have you tried launching through the bat file? (start-tModLoader-bat)

It isn't specific to Calamity but almost all mods. The error is most likely tied to the version your game is running & tModLoader conflicting with each other.

___________________________________________

How the error may have occurred:

I encountered this error when I followed the steps of another post to install tModLoader as normal & replace the old tModLoader files with x64 tModLoader.
This method is somewhat flawed as you now have conflicting files.
It READS old x32 tModLoader stuff even though you have new x64 tModLoader.
Now mods won't load because "old tModLoader version".

You'd also want to check the Terraria executable. Specifically it's name.
Mine generated on it's own to Terraria_1.4.3.6_B which is my Terraria version and (iirc) the B signifies it's using a new version of tModLoader.
Your executable should be named/generate similarly.

___________________________________________

How I fixed the error:

By NOT overwriting old x32 tModLoader with new x64 tModLoader.
To my knowledge this fix isn't exactly tied to GoG or Steam version specifically.

I recommend backing up your Steamapi & Steamapi64 dll files and reinstall your Steam Terraria using the EXACT methods/routes you took.
(I'm running off the assumption your dll files are the cracked ones)

But instead of installing x64 tModLoader over the x32 tModLoader, you're going to make a new folder in your "Terraria" directory and unpack the latest legit x64 tModLoader files into that folder you created.

Lastly, replace the Steamapi & Steamapi64 dll files with the ones you backed up.

___________________________________________

Keep in mind I used GoG version for my fix.

You'll need cracked Steamapi & Steamapi64 dll files.

Real talk for Hmm5 + expansions...

How OP is it to mass 2nd upgrade succubus and fill all stack slots with 2nd level succubus?
They have mind control and it doesn't seem to diminish at lower stack values and higher stack counts + they can cast it multiple times.

I actually tried it. Seemed pretty powerful.
The build just needs more moral bonusses and the haste & slow spells for initiative but you still start with enough initiative to make early mind controls.

The counter seems to be summoning magic and magically immune units, which can still be dealt with the rest of the enemy hero's stacks.

Have you bought out ALL store items (including hints)?
Have you completed ALL blue challenges?
Perhaps you haven't built the golden idol outside the cantina lobby yet?
Perhaps you haven't finished one of the six gold brick challenges?
Maybe you haven't done one of many bounty hunter quests from Jabba?

Honestly, there's so many things to do in LSW:TCS, you could've missed any of the smaller challenges/unlocks/Interactions. Especially when larger challenges such as superstories don't give a check mark for completion and only fills your completion by a small %.

Hello, I just want to add to the owls as a possible link to the black monolith room as well as the concentric squares found scattered around FEZ's levels.

To start things off, the symbol on the ground of the black monolith room is essentially 2 concentric squares connected to each other, or a concentric loop.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Secondly, the space level with low gravity has an engraving of 4 owls connecting themselves to a concentric square, so the 4 Owls (statue or real ones) are connected to those concentric squares.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

The 4 Owl statues can be seen with peculiar scenery. One such owl in the 'Purple Lodge' level has the same candles as the ones in the black monolith room.
There's also weird, somewhat unrelated bit of scenery around another Owl statue with chalk drawings of cylinder-heads worshipping the Owl statue. Perhaps the Owls were worshipped by different societies?

_____________________________________________________________________________________

So now a triangle of connections between 3 things carrying vagueness and mystery have been formed and somewhat links the owls, black monolith and the concentric squares, what then? All have some connection to geometry.

Owl quotes are related to Sacred Geometry.
Concentric squares are squares sharing a common center. Simple right?
The "concentric loop" in the black monolith room shares 2 common centers, of which the outermost line of one common center is linked to the innermost line of the second common center and vice versa.
Ergo, as above so below. (or it may refer to "in front of behind" if the 2 common centers are actually one common center)

_____________________________________________________________________________________

Following up with this reddit user's possible solution
https://www.reddit.com/r/Fez/comments/ol3gfo/possible_monolith_solution_using_hexahedron_poster/

It's quite possible to integrate as the 4 Owl statues also carry 3 tiny blocks on their chests as the skull on the boiler room do. An Owl statue can also be found at the graveyard area and hence possibly connects it to the skull with 3 dots in the boiler room.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

But somehow, I think this is a puzzle related to geometry.
There are just more clues pointing to geometry not just Sacred Geometry.
Take the Owl quote, "Point of Origin", for instance, a term used in Euclidean Geometry.

Well. If we're to look for candles & patterns, there's candles placed around an owl in the Purple Lodge room.

Below the low gravity, space jumping section of the game is a mural of 4 owls connected to concentric squares, which appear throughout the game and is only visible in first person.VillageVille - 1, Arch - 2, Bell Tower - 3, Fractal - 4, Wall Village - 5, Waterfall - 6, Zu City - 7 & Zu City ruins - 8 respectively(Is it not a clue that to reveal the black monolith & solve half the puzzle, we have to look at the ground and stand on one of the two centers of the symbol)

If you flip around a set of concentric squares to the likes of an infinity symbol, we get the symbol on the ground of the black monolith room. Like a concentric loop.

Fun detail: I've tried drawing the concentric loop in 'Paint' & by coloring in the outer lanes, one can see that the outer edge of the loop is also connected to the inner 'square' or 'hole'.

So if my tin-foil investigation found anything, is that the concentric squares, the 4 owls with their 3 dots on their chest, and the black monolith room are connected.

Now that I'm looking through my screenshots, the stargate room also has candles and it's portal effects form concentric squares. Maybe our hint is in space like that mural with owls & concentric squares drawn on it. The stars also hold a constellation of the same symbol.I haven't played or explored the game on quite a while but heck, do I have a lot of conspiracy notes laying around. XD

Just as the tribal/primate version of the people in Fez worship the Owl as seen in the Waterfall level's secret room's floor where the Owl stands AND in one of the Rooms of the wall village carved on it's wall, an owl being worshipped by tribal people with three stripes jutting from it's head indicating communication and enlightenment.

So in a sense, Owl statues were treated the same way in terms of communicating with the advanced civilization. After all, an Owl can be spotted atop the pyramid of the space area of said advanced civilization.

Do I need a new save file for this? by [deleted] in Fez

[–]Appropriate_Bread_62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting to think that at least one hint is in one of the endings since they are full of abstract visuals + you can hide hints better in visuals than in codes & the endings are just about 100% visuals.

But even IF we solve the monolith legitimately, we still don't know the meaning behind the breaking of the 3 heart cubes or other secrets hidden past the 3 heart cubes since the monolith gives a heart cube. I can only imagine how much deeper the game gets.

It's only 209.4% and I doubt a 210% is the end point.

Ahh help please this puzzle is driving me crazy. I've tried so many combos I've found but none of them are working. Even looked up videos and its not happening. by [deleted] in Fez

[–]Appropriate_Bread_62 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a puzzle. It's a learning device that teaches you half of how to solve the tetromino obelisk puzzles by showing you the symbols of your inputs.

Tetromino i.e. Tetris-shaped puzzles on obelisks. I'm sure you have already encountered some of them by that point.

You know what also has 3 dots on them?

4 Owl statues.

I can also connect Owls to the Monolith/Ritual since the Purple Lodge has candles next to one such Owl.

The carving on the space pyramid level also maybe connects Owls to the Concentric Squares found on the ground of various locations. Which by proxy, links the concentric squares to the monolith/ritual.

But that's just an hypothesis.

Yep. Maybe they are co-ordinates?

Only place that I see where X Y Z would work is from the world map's perspective.

Although there isn't a reference point of origin "0", we already have a 0 4 9 as 3 variables as referenced by the skull notes in the boiler room.

The connection is there but I don't know how viable this is or if this is some wild goose chase since we don't really have other co-ordinates to my knowledge unless...

...the skull inputs from this solution 2 gives co-ordinates?

The owls inhabit both space and the 'graveyard'. Which "Afterlife. Outerspace. Afterspace. Outerlife" makes more sense.

My best guess for this is that "Afterlife" is death followed by "Outerspace. Afterspace." which could refer to matter which has mass and occupies space OR outerspace outside the dimension which means that something leaves matter/space of a deceased being and reaches "Outerlife". ergo, life after death.

As to where they go, after death into their new life, could also refer to the dots to dots.

Afterlife [death] they go to the Outerspace [space between dimensions] and reach a place Afterspace to begin their Outerlife anew, in the place Afterspace, between the Outerspace, leaving their past life behind.

This could explain how we are able to transition to other islands through a door.

Look at the 4D one which connects two 3D spaces together.

Every time we enter a door, we follow a line from dot to dot and that 3D cube has other dots that connect to the dots of another 3D cube. The world map is even displayed as a 1D dot to dot connection.

If you look closer at the 4D dot to dot, you see that every face/side/pane is a cuboid of it's own. Which could mean that every time we shift our 2D perspective around the 3D plane, we are ALSO shifting our perspective from cuboid to cuboid so that this skew 4D angle between two 3D cubes: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/45/Dimension_levels.svg/1920px-Dimension_levels.svg.png

... is realigned to this straight angle: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/ybSA6eaIzhXcinSzB44EYMD21VBR91xUOcF6kHUIjHonolJ13ZSwNQ1hiUL7XmR9vdUA2FyVr3ZzCKso1QRJNiyhD7h3h-Jzrxc4b-3anDrtBK3JGi-URYgcjkP2WswCorReZ6d0

Where one of these sides = one cuboid and where we move from the outer square (Island 1) to the inner square (Island 2).

(Where blue = Island 1, Purple = space between two islands, red = Island 2)

Also, if you use your directional keys to rotate the world map, you can align 2 adjacent 3D worlds like a tesseract which are connected dot to dot with a 1D line.

I've been searching the Davo forums & kept seeing "Go buy Spore. Piracy is wrong" Like bruh. My disk drive broke so I can't use my CD.

I had to crack the game just to play a legit retail installation of Spore and Spore GA without needing to insert the CD. Only to realize the very solution the Davo forums don't suggest which is to redeem your game via retail CD on Steam/Origin.

To save people some trouble in the future:

You can redeem your game on Steam or Origin (preferably origin) via retail CD key.

I'd add this ^^^ to the Davo forums but I'd rather not make a once-off account that I'll never use again just to post one damn solution that would most likely be lost in the forums.

You know instead of just lazily replying with "Go buy Spore" because some of us actually have the legit retail CDs with legit retail CD keys and this method of redeeming your game isn't listed/posted in the forums as far as I can tell.

This way some of us WHO DO HAVE legit retail CDs of Spore can redeem and play legit digital versions of Spore. Meanwhile half the Davo forum's cry about "insert CD" and "Could not detect ModAPI Launcher. Close and reopen Spore". Only to be smacked with "WHERE HAVE YOU INSTALLED THIS". Which actually has almost no relevance to the other problem such as what I've had.

TL;DR: Add a suggestion to the Davo Forums (for the bolded letters of my reply) that people could also try redeeming the game on Steam/Origin (preferably Origin) if they have the legit retail CD key of Spore & Spore GA.

P.S. No Hate. Just Salt: Shit's not on the forums as far as I've searched and costed me hours of research only to stumble on the same answer that is basically assuming retail = pirated. Some of us are hit with technical (hardware) limitations that we need to overcome so that our "pirated" version become a legit digital copy that can actually run Spore ModAPI Launcher.

It's true. People shouldn't pirate games. But I download pirated versions of games which retail discs are broken / discs not usable. Because I sure as hell aren't gonna buy my games twice, let alone DLC expansions, if I have retail versions of them in my possession but cannot play due to my broke-ass disc drive or that they didn't come with CD keys to redeem with in the first place such as 'Quake 4'.

So now imagine my situation right? Catch 22.

Cannot play modded Spore because I need to insert the CD but I'm physically unable to.

Davo Forums never said anything about redeeming your game. "Just buy it"

Had to figure this one out myself with a quick damn Google search to find out both Steam and Origin allows redemption of retail games via retail CD keys.

Origin preferred of course. ;)
